Niantic is no stranger to making controversial decisions regarding 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Go, particularly when it comes to rolling back popular features. Deciding to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:heavily nerf remote raid passes might well be the mಌo🔴st controversial decision it has made to date, though. With no official response from the studio regarding the backlash, a tweet making light of it was quickly deleted as Niantic realized posting it was absolutely the wrong call.

“The reviews for going outside are in,” Niantic tweeted, jokingly claiming critics had given it 95 percent and it had received a perfecꦉt audience score, signing off with #getoutside for good measure. The irony of claiming going outside has a perfect audience score was quickly laid bare as the reactions to the tweet were so fierce, it was deleted before a lot of Pokemon Go players even had the chance to see it. Lucky for them, and unfortunately for Niantic, very little on the internet is ever deleted forever.

A screenshot of the deleted tweet has now been posted on the Pokemon Go subreddit, allowing players to continue sharing what they think of Niantic's response to complaints about its remote raid pass changes. That appears to be the biggest issue most of you have. That this was the first time Niantic has publicly ackowledged the complaints, and it was mocking those who have been making them. Evidence that the studio really is listening but is choosing to ignore its players, making the whole situation decidedly worse.

Niantic revealed it would be making changes to its remote raid passes last month. Not only do they now cost more, but players are also limited to using just five of them per day. R🃏emote raid passes were introduced as a way of allowing players to keep playing Pokemon Go without going outside during the pandemic. However, those of you who live in areas with fewer gyms and fewer people playing came to rely on them, unable to play in the conventional ways Niantic is𒅌 now trying to force on you.

Replies to the Reddit post above also come from people who quite literally can't go outside, at least not as often as they'd like. Whether it be due to a disability, a job with unsociable hours, or simply living in a part of the world where the weather often makes it unsafe to leave the house for essentials, let alone to play Pokemon Go. One player highlights the temperature where they live is almost always below freezing and that heading out to take part in a raid usually involves battling through the snow in order to do so.
