Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will have 20ꦯ characterඣs at launch. Two more characters will be added shortly after that with DLC plans already in place for the future.
Ludosity has finally confirmed Nickelodeonꦦ All-Star Brawl will indeed be here ♏on October 5. That means you now have less than three weeks to wait to find out what Super Smash Bros. would be like if Mario and the gang were replaced with some of Nickelodeon's most famous animated characters. SpongeBob, Reptar, CatDog, and Danny Phantom are just some of the characters to have been confirmed for the game so far.
The characters above will actually be part of a 🍎cast of 20 when All-Star Brawl launches on October 5. That was confirmed by Ludosity CEO Joel Nyström during a recent interview with . “At launch, there will be 20 characters, with two more following soon after. Additional DLC characters will be revealed after that,” Nyström said.
As for who those characters are, there's a chance the base 20 has already been revealed, whether that be officially or otherwise. The first 14 characters were revealed along with the game's announce trailer. CatDog and April O'Neil then joined the battle via an announcement at Gamescom 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:followed by Ren and Sti𒅌mpy earlier this week.
That's where the roster and how many fighters Ludosity has left to announce gets a tad confusing. If Ren and Stimpy are being classed as two of the 20 characters, then that leaves two launch spots left to fill. However, the two will technically be one character and partner up, kind of like the Ice Climbers in Smash. There's also the small matter of two more fighters inadvertently being leaked by Nintendo.
Nintendo's eShop listing briefly included artwork showing off characters that hadn't yet been announced. Most notably 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Avatar characters Aang and Korra. Since the same artwork also foreshadowed the arrival of Ren and Stimpy, it seems very likely that two of the spots left for the taking have been re🐎served for the Avatar characters. If Ren and Stimpy only count as one fighter, then that leaves one space left to be filled ahead of launch.
