Square Enix has announced that it will be publishing Nier and Drakengard creator Yoko Taro's next game. Titled Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, the game is described by the publisher as a "unique, table-top, RPG video game built of cards," although further details of the game were not revealed.

Unsurprisingly, Yoko Taro has brought with him a bunch of other developers from the Nier and Drakengard series. These developers include Taro's right-hand man Yosuke Saito, as well as Music Director Keiichi Okabe (Drakengard 3 and Nier series) and Character Designer Kimihiko Fujisaka (Drakengard series).

But before Drakengard and Nier fans get excited about the game potentially being related to either of the s𒁃eries, Yoko Taro himself explained in a Twitter post earlier today that Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is an unrelated project.

As for when the game will release, Square Enix's video only gives us a brief explanation of the game and who will be working on it. However, we do know that it will likely launch on PlayStation consoles as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game was leaked due to a PlayStation Store listing in the Asian P♚layStation Ne♕twork.

In other Square Enix-related news, the publisher still has a couple of big releases coming much sooner than Yoko Taro's next project. Life is Strange: True Colors is releasing on September 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with the game having recently reviewed very positively across several outlets. Square Enix also has Marvel's Guardian of the Galaxy releasing on October 26 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming.
