Despite having been out for only a day, the Nier Replica෴nt remaster already saw its fans fixing ꦡup annoying glitches associated with the game's PC port.
Unfortunately, problematic PC ports aren't exactly a rarity when it comes to the series. 2017's Nier: Automata has a notoriously buggy PC port, riddled with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:stuttering animations and locked ꦉframe♌ rates, and while an improved version was released on the Microsoft Store four year later, it's still not at 100%. Back in 2010, Nier Replicant was released in Japan for the PlayStation 3 (with a slightly different version entitled Nier Gestalt released for the Xbox 360). Outside of Japan, only🌳 the Ge🐎stalt version was released but was simply entitled Nier. Confused yet? Well, stay with us for a bit longer.
Now, Japan's Replicant version 🐼haꦉs been remastered, taking on the very apt name of Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., which was released a few days ago for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
It seems that history has repeated itself a bit, with PC players reporting annoying issues including considerable frame rate drops, stuttering animations, and overall sub-par optimization. But this time, instead of waiting like four years for Square Enix to step in with a fixed-up version, some players started taking matters into their own hands pretty much as soon a🧔s the game released.
Mere hours after Replicant was released, Steam user shared their Special K injectable w📖hich prevents the mouse cursor from showing up when you'r𒁏e playing with a gamepad, reduces stuttering, lets you set your own frame rate limit, and turns off the internal v-sync. There's also a that lets you run the game at over 60 fps without having the animations glitch out.
While it's pretty frustrating that fans are often left to 168澳洲幸运5ꦦ开奖网:patch and mod messy PC ports back together, it's always hugely appreciated by those of us who aren't equipped to do that ourselves. So for what it's worth, thank you for putting on your modding pants and getting straight to a solution whilst the rest of🌱 us sit and mope about it.
