Welcome to the Kitchen escape room in Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. Here, you must work tog🌼ether with Santa, June, and Lotus to find a way out. The Kitchen has several steps that you need to complete in order; you are not able to skip any sections, making this a bit tedious 🐲if you are trying to work quickly.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to successfully escape the Kitchen. You will not run into any spoilers for future plot-related information, so sit back and get to exploring. First, let's look at the layout of this escape room.
Kitchen Layout
The main room of the Kitchen is shaped like a giant L, with a counter snaking through the center. Along the walls, you can find a variety of kitchen equ💎ipment.
On the wall closest to the center counter, you will find two doors. The door on the left will take you to the freezer room, while the door on the right will take you into the pantry room.
How To Escape The Kitchen
With the layout in mind, it's time to start your escape.
To begin, head into the pantry room. In here, search behind a white curtain and grab a knife that's inside a small box.
While still in the pantry, go towards the shelf that holds cheese. Grab a bottle of oil that's behind some cheese, and then leave the pantry.
After exiting the pantry, you will see a sink to your right. On the counter with the sink, you can grab a Whetstone. Combine this with the knife to make it sharp.
Now, it's time to head into the freezer room. The door has been stuck, but you can use the oil to unstick it and then proceed inside.
Inside the freezer, look around the shelves to your right and grab the frozen piece of pork. From here, turn to the left side of the room and grab frozen chicken from the bottom shelf and some dry ice from the top shelf.
Lastly, interact with the compartment on the floor to obtain rope and a plastic bottle.
With all of these items in hand, you will now need to combine them into a dry ice bomb. The order of combinations can be fo✅und below.
- Combine the chicken and dry ice.
- Add the bottle to this combination.
- Lastly, use the rope on the bottle.
After the items have been combined, use the bottle on the frozen door handle to open it.
Once out of the room, locate the grill in the main part of the kitchen. This should be a tall metal object a🧔gainst a wall.
Add the frozen piece of pork to the grill until it has cooked, and then cut into it with the sharp knife from earlier. By doing this, you will be able to grab the piece of paper that was sticking out from the meat.
The note from the meat says C + 10 + F, which is a hint for the keypad on the oven door. To solve this puzzle, you will need to convert these numbers into hexadecimal.
Once converted, the paper means 12 + 16 + 15. Add🌳 these together to get the correct code for the o🐻ven door.
Enter 43 into the keypad will cause the oven to open, allowing you to grab the Saturn Key Card and escape.
