Negativity? In the gaming community? Come on, , that’s a༺ little far-fetch… oh, wait.

Now, there’s no denying that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fortnite has been a phenomenal success story. Originally, its battle royale component was just a side note, but it became so much more than that. The game single-handedly popularised the genre for many of us, and has done fantastically well on every format it’s been ported to (which is all of them). Heck, it was 𒅌downloaded to almost half of all Nintendo Switch systems worldওwide soon after appearing there.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows for Fortnite, though. For one thing, it’s had the likes of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends snapping at its heels for some time now (even if that game is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:plagued with cheaters and other problems). For anoth𒁏er, it has that problem faced by just about everything popular ever: some members of the fanbase are going to be pretty darn terrible and give everyone else a bad name.

When it comes to influential figures in the Fortnite world, Ninja is about as big as it gets. The streamer is the biggest of big deals (remember when EA gave him $1 million dollars to hype up Apex Legends?), has an enormous fanbase, and an oꦓpinion that tends to carry a good deal of weight.

Needless to say, Ninja is passionate about Fortnite and defending it from its detractors. That’s not to say that he’s afraid to criticize the game himself (as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the infamous UNO incident proved), but he’s recently struck back against the needlessl⛦y negative streamers he feels are ruining the game.

There’s an important distinction between pointing out legitimate issues with a title you’re enjoying and simply lambasting it f𒅌or the sake of it. Particularly when you have a fanbase whose opinions you can influence, as Ninja himself knows all too well.

“I’m enjoying the game,” he stated in “I guarantee there are people who are loving this season. But if they watch their favorite broadcaster or YouTuber complaining about the game, they might lose interest in it.”

While there’s no denying that he’s been a bit of a negative Nancy towards Fortnite himself at times, he certainly has a point here. Big streamers and broadcasters are called 'influencers' for a reason, and they also have a bit of an obligation in tha💞t regard. Things are negative enough in this industry, without some of the biggest players around fanning the flames.
