Currently, there is no slated release for the N🐻intendo Dir💟ect app in the west. However, it would be nice to have another way of viewing Nintendo Directs. There is a valid concern over the quality of the viewing, though a streamlined ability to do so is a nice bonus for Nintendo fans in Japan.

This does seem to be another instance of Japan's priority when it comes to Nintendo's latest features. For instance, where My Nintendo's highlights mostly include 3DS and Wii U game discounts in the west, Japan's Club Nintendo-esque website includes physical rewards a🌳nd more.

This may, however, give Nintendo time to polish the app before an expanded release in western regions. P🏅erhaps th꧒e company will monitor the app's performance in Japan before a wider release abroad.
