The time has come to turn to forms of entertainment that have been there for us all along and appreciate them more than ever, and for many, gaming is at the very top of that list. Chances are, certain games and certain servers have been experiencing unprece𒈔dented amounts of traffic. There might even be consoles getting more attention than usual which is where their users need to be careful. Just like everything else, consoles can break. The trouble is, if they break right now, what are people supposed to do about it?
Nintendo has ded🅷icated repair centers for its consoles, but as of right now, at least in the United States, those centers have been closed. The closure of its repair centers "until further notice" was announced via . That means any consoles sent there from now on will be returned to sender, and worst of all, any consoles there right now will remain at the centers until they can reopen.
These closures follow the shut down of Nintendo of America in Seattle, and Nintendo New York in New York City, areas that have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. As for other Nintendo services around the world, the UK's repair centers still appear to be open at the time of typing this, but Nintendo asꩲks tho🐼se waiting for the safe return of their consoles to expect delays.
As for when those poor abandoned Switches will get to leave the repair center, right now that is anyone's guess, and those guesses probably wouldn't be very accurate.
