The Switch 2 is almost here, and Nintendo is taking some never-before-seen measures to stop fraudsters and scalpers, at least in Japan.
In a new announcement, it's been revealed that Nintendo, along with three secondhand sites (Mercari, Rakuten and Yahoo! Japan) will work together to prevent "fraudulent" listings and proactively remove them.
Following the announcement, Yahoo announced an outright ban on Switch 2 listings, even after the console launches in one week.
