Nintendo still wants as many people to buy Switches as possible over the Christmas period. It's a strange situation all around as on the one hand Nintendo hasn't officially revealed anything about its next console, but on the other, this is the second time its president has acknowledged its existence despite the lack of an official reveal. Rumors have been rife for months at this point and we might even know some of the first games that will be released on the Switch 2.
