Genki has been showing off its Switch 2 accessories behind closed doors at CES 2025 but naturally, images of them have quickly found their way online and are now sprea⭕ding like wildfire on social media. CES attendees are welcome to "get a feel" for the Switch 2 using Genki's accessories as the company made good on a promise it made last week. Genki noted it would be bringing Switch 2 accessories to the ev𝓡ent and well, here we are. While the images confirm prior leaks, the one thing Genki has reportedly been telling ꦅattendees that wasn't known before is a potential release window for the Switch 2. It's claiming that its accessories will be released in April of this year which presumably means that's when the Switch 2 will launch as well. It would be a little odd if accessories were available to buy for a console that can't be played yet.
There is a chance that's simply when pre-orders for the Switch 2 will open with a release coming later in 2025. The one thing we know for certain is that Nintendo will have confirmed details about the Switch 2 by then as it has committed to a reveal before ꧂the end of the curre♓nt financial year, so any time between now and March 31, 2﷽025. If the reveal comes within the next couple of weeks, an April release may well be on the cards. A quick turnaround, but at th☂is point, Nintendo probably just wants to get its new console out there.
