Have you ever wanted to live in an alternate timeline where Squaresoft stayed loyal to Nintendo and released 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy VII oꦬn the Nintendo 64? Well, does Nintendo have a commercial for you!
Nintendo has just released three "My Way" commercials on their offici♋al YouTube account, which have no relation to the Limp Bizkit song of the same name, eve💜n though they would be a fitting choice for a commercial that features a game from 1997.
One of the three commercials shows a middle-aged man playing Final Fantasy VII on his Nintendo Switch while traveling on a plane. The commercial gives us our first glimpse at the Nintendo Switch port of Final Fantasy VII, which will likel🥂y be based on the recent PC port of the game.
The commercial concludes with the man returning home and playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with his family, which is a little more fitting when you consider that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is🎉 the best-selling game on the system and wasn't released over twenty years ago.
It's still an odd sight to see Final Fantasy VII in a Nintendo commercial, considering what the game represents. Final Fantasy VII is the living symbol of Squaresoft abandoning Nintendo for🎶 the Sony PlayStation and giving one of the defining games of a generation to one of Ninten🦄do's competitors.
It's also odd that Nintendo included Final Fantasy VII in the commercial, as the game still doesn't have a release date, even though the d🍌escription of the video claims that it's coming soon.
Nintendo must be proud of the fact that they finally snagged Final Fantasy VII for one of their systems, as it's being given equal billing with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (the current best-selling game on the Switch), while the other "My Way" commercials feature Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which are the other best-selling games on the Switch and represen🌞ts the quality of the system's exclusive titles.
Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be comi൩ng to the Nintendo Switch i𒁃n the future.
