The is currently undergoing shortages around tღhe globe and fans shouldn't expect them to end ꩵsoon, as Nintendo has revealed that supply issues could continue through the summer.

The Nintendo Switch has seen incredible success since its launch in 2017, to the point where it has already outsold many other classic Nintendo systems. The console has become incredibly hard to find in some regions, which is a combination of people buying systems to help them through the self-isolation period, as well as the long-awaited release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The stock issues with the Switch will persist for a while longer. According to a recent Q&A with Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa (via ), the production issues are expected to continue as it has become increasingly difficult to purchase necessary parts. Furukawa has also claimed that these issues will continue if the COVID-ꦛ19 situation persists throughout the year.

Nintendo is also working hard on preparing more copies of Ring-Fit Adventure and its Ring-Con accessory, which have also ex💝perienced global shortages. It's unclear how long the 🔥Switch supply issues will persist, or if they will affect other systems on the market (like the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X).
