Keeping up with the initial promise, a trailer was recently revealed that showcases Nioh 2's characters, story, Guardian Spirits, and a lot𒆙 more.
According to the trailer, as well as supplementary information provided by Creative Director Tom Lee, the game takes place in 1555 during the Warring States period in Japan. The character who fans will get to play as is a rogue mercenary who hunts down yokai demons but is൩ a half-demon him/herself. Ultimately, they lose control of their own yokai power but are rescued by a wandering merchant who sells Spirit Stones (possibly a reference to Amrita from the first game.) The two end up joining forces, and set out on an adventure to find more powerful Spirit Stones while being funded by "an influential warlord" (who closely resembles a younger Oda🌳 Nobunaga).
A number of characters are making their return in Nioh 2, and for a good reason - the game takes place before the original one. Looking from the trailer, one can see characters like Honda Tadakatsu, Lady Chacha, Hattori Hanzo, and more. As such, it will be interesting to see what kind of roles these people had and what kind of circumstances surrounded them before 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nioh.
This is not the only information that was revealed, however. Lee also took the time to share what kind of DLCs the developers have planned for Nioh 2, and what players can expect from the DLCs once they come out. Although not much information was revealed, Lee did say that there will be three different DLCs, with each one focusing on a different storyline that predates Nioh 2. In other words, the DLCs will take players even further back in time, but at the same time introduce new weapons, new combat abilities, and new cha🅠racters as well as new main quests and new optional quest💯s.
Nioh 2 comes out exclusively for the PS4 on Marc🍌h 13, 2020, with a PC port to most likely follow some timeܫ after.
