Journey to the Space Anomaly to meet with Tethys and show him what you found. Once you have spoken with Tethys, speak with every NPC you can find on the Space Anomaly. You are looking for three different items. From Mercury, you will receive the Phylactery, Gemini will award you with the Nanite Filament. Now, speak to Hesperus, who can be found directly next to Gemini, who will direct you to speak with Polo about creating the drone. Finally, speak with Polo to receive an item named Beads.
Now, after many conversations with the local population, you can return to Tethys and receive youℱr first AI companion. Note that the follower can not be activated on the Space Anomaly. So, return to your base and interact with the Sentinel Flare item. You will now have your AI Drone.
How To Get Hardframe
Hardframe is the game's new AI mech. Much larger than your drone companion, it will fight alongside you against the newly added enemies of No Man's Sky.
Just continue the drone questline, and the AI Drone will lead you to a number of pillars. Each pillar will provide you with a new item to help build the Hardframe. Each item allows you to add new armour, new weapons and ultimately complete the robotic companion. Importantly, to build these items once discovered you will need to have a stockpile of the Hydraulic Wiring resource. Once fully complete, you will have a new ▨mech tha🧸t can be controlled both by you and by AI.
