As for the rewards, expedition four grants successful explorers 🌱a terrifying worm head, several new badges, a Halloween-themed jetpack upgrade that provides a green exhaust🍬, and fireworks that explode into green slime and baby wormlets, which is pretty gross.
Along with the new expedition also comes a slight iterative update. Particle effects for meteors, muzzle flashes, explosions, burrowing fauna dust, smoke, and 🍰laser impacts have all been improved, and there are ꦜnumerous bug fixes aside.

Expedition Four: Emergence is available now on every platform No Man’s Sky is played on. The new Dune movie arrives on October 22, which I'm sure is entirely unrelated.
