Yesterday, the newest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:No Man's Sky update went live on PS5, introducing 168澳洲幸运ꩲ5开奖网:a "complete overhaul🐻" for expeditions. Bizarrely, there was no fanfare. Hello Games didn't reveal the update or give any details on what was included outside of in-game patch notes. That changed today, as founder Sean Murray officially announced Omega.
There's the expedition overhaul we reported on yesterday, as well as a rework to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Atlas Path mission. "[It] has been given a new breath of life, culminating in a final, consequential choice," the patch notes read. "Witness the Atlas in all its grandeur, and decide whether you want to embrace t𒆙he path it offers or deny it. Either path 🎐will permanently impact your relationship with the Atlas."
The Atlas Path mission has also been visually enhanced and reworked "to create a more spectacular finale𝕴".
On the topic of expeditions, the namesake Omega is now available for free, even if you don't own the game (at least until February 19). It's set on the planet Nafut Gamma where you're tasked with unpicking "the threads of a mystery involving the past, the present, and what could be". You have around four weeks to complete it.
If you do conquer the new expedition, you'll earn a limited edition staff Multi-Tool. It's described as a ceremonial staff "hand-forged by a Korvax Priest Entity". You'll also get a matching jetpack "powered by a fiery crimson core" and an exclusive helmet. Unsettlingly, it houses a "soft but immutable heartbeat". And of course, you'll unlock a new ship called the Starborn Runner.
The Omega update doesn't just rework the Atlas Path and expeditions, but pirate dreadnoughts too. You can seize and take them for yourself, or end fights by destroying their defences and getting them extremely close to death, forcing them to surrender. If you show mercy, they'll hand over their goods.
There's a lot included in this update, but here are some of the highlights:
- NPCs give procedurally generated quests catered to the planet you find them on.
- Once you've completed Atlas Path, you'll unlock a repeating mission to earn nanites and words in the Atlas language.
- You can find Black Holes on the galaxy map without requesting coordinates from Polo.
- Teleporters are available at the Space Anomaly.
- You can save on Atlas Stations.
