Quicksilver is an alternative currency in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:No Man's Sky, different from Units and Nanites. It's used to purchase items from the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion, who is located on the Space Anomaly.
Most of the items you can purchase with Quicksilver are cosmetic or decorative items, like the various statues and decals. These items range in price from a few hundred Quicksilver to a few thousand, which means you're going to want a reliable way of earning it. There are two ways of earning Quicksilver: completing Nexus missions or searching for Stellar Ice. Here's what you need to know.
Nexus Missions

Various missions are offered at the Nexus, including the regular missions that will reward players with nanites and units, and often an additional item. For Quicksilver, though, you're looking for the daily missions.
These are marked by a small gold icon. A new mission is available every day, with the reward being 250 quicksilver. You can stack three of these at once so you don't need to come back every day.
Weekend missions award way more quicksilver, 1200 in total, and are marked by a Hexagon rather than𒐪 gold i🅷cons.
Farming Quicksilver Via Stellar Ice

After a lot of experimentation from the players in No Man's Sky, there is a fairly tried and tested method of farming Quicksilver by farming it via Stellar Ice. Stellar Ice is a random space encounter that was added with the Living Ships update.
When destroyed, Stellar Ice has a chance to drop a random stack of resources, like Uranium, or Nanites. On occasion, it will also drop 100 Quicksilver.
How do you find Stellar Ice? It appears to spawn more commonly in Green systems, which you'll need to find for yourself. You can find them on the starmap by looking for Category E stars.
Once there, quicksave on the other end of the warp. Pulse for a few minutes in any direction to try and find Stellar Ice. If you find it, amazing, you're in a good spot. If not, try another system. Rinse and repeat. This can be time exhaustive, but it's the only method to farm Quicksilver in the game.
If you destroy the Stellar Ice and there's no Quicksilver inside, reload your quicksave and try again. You can repeat this over and over until you have a decent stockpile of Quicksilver.
Make sure you hard save once you venture back through the warp, as you might lose all your hard work.
You can also use the Space Anomaly detector to hunt for Stellar Ice. This is a bit less reliable, but a useful method if you can stack loads of Anomaly Detectors. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Check out our guide here.
Note: In recent months, the amount of Quicksilver you can get from Stellar Ice has been nerfed. Last year, you could farm for an hour and get a few thousand Quicksilver, but the rates have been reduced significantly. It's still worthwhile, but you might find yourself spending more time than you're willing to.
