It seems that all of Travis Touchdown's adventures could be available on Nintendo's latest console in the future, as No More Heroes has been rated for the Switch in Taiwan.
The original No More Heroes was released for the Nintendo Wii in 2006. It was an over-the-top action game starring a wannabe assassin named Travis Touchdown, who carved his way through hordes of enemies with his lightsaber-style beam katana. Travis wants to be the top-ranked member of the United Assassins Association, and the only way to climb the ranks is to kill the people above him. It was followed by a sequel, called No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, which was released for the Wii in 2010.
There is already a No More Heroes game on the Switch in the form of the Travis Strikes Again spin-off game. No More Heroes III is also in development for the system. It seems that we might be getting a remastered version of the original game in the series in the future. According to the Gematsu Twitter page, an age rating for No More Heroes for Nintendo Switch has been listed in Taiwan.
It's unclear if this game is just an HD remaster of the original game or it will be a collection of the first two titles. An HD version of No More Heroes was already developed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, called No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise, so there is already a solid foundation for a port to🙈 modern systems. The sequel never received an HD remaster, so it's possible that it could be coming in the future as ⭕a separate title.
The fact that there is No More Heroes content on the Switch already means that ports of the older titles seem like an easy decision, especially with No More Heroes III coming to the system in the future. The first two No More Heroes titles were excellent action games and they deser🍷ve a chance to find a𝓰 whole new audience on the Switch.
