It’s been a w⭕hile since the Obi-Wan series was first greenlit back in 2019, but Disney has finallౠy committed to production with a star-studded cast.

Some familiar faces were confirmed returning over on the official Disney+ Twitter handle today, inclu♋ding Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christen🦄sen reprising their roles as Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker (who will be known as Darth Vader during the period in which the show takes place). Also returning are Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse, who played Uncle Own and Aunt Beru in Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, respectively.

Moses Ingram (The Queen's Gambit), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Eternals), Indira Varma (Paranoid, Game of Thrones), Ruper🉐t Friend (Hitman: Agent 47), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious 6, F9), Simone Kessell (Reckoning), and Benny Safdie will also be starring.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is set 10 years after the events of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith and follows Oꦫbi-Wan's travels after the destructionꦆ of the Republic.

Deborah Chow is set to direct after directing two episodes of The Mandolorian, while Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, and Ewan McGregor🧸 are listed as executive producers. The show writer is Joby Harold.

Disney indicates that the show will begin production soon, but hasn’t 🐟provided a release date yet. Obi-Wan Kenobi will stream exclusively on♏ Disney+.
