As Martin describes it, Miscarcand is a dangerous place. No on💮e has returned from it, which may likely be because they got lost inside. Miscarcand houses the Great Welkynd Stone, which is what you'll have to find once you arrive at these♕ Ayleid ruins.
How To Start The Miscarcand Quest
You can start the Miscarcand quest after completing the Blood of the Divine quest. Martin says he'll need one more thing to open the portal to Camoran's Paradise by deciphering the Mysteri𓃲um Xarxes. That thing is the Great Welkynd Stone.
Martin reveals that most of the Great Welkynd Stones have already been scavenged by people, but Miscarcand is still rumored to have one placed inside it. He also warns you that no one has returned fꦏrom these Ayleid ruins alive, and you'll have to be extremely cautious on your journey.
Miscarcand Quest Walkthrough
Miscarcand is located to the west of Skingrad. Getting to the location is fairly easy. You can just follow the marker on the map from Skingrad, and you'll get there. There would be a f✃ew goblins outside the ruins. Defeat them and make your way to ൩the staircase leading to the door to Miscarcand.
Make your way inside Miscarcand. You'll find a few goblin corpses and some alive ones that you'll have to fight against. You'll also be facing many skeletons and zombies, so you'll have to be prepared for that.
Soon after, you'll find yourself in a room where you can jump to the floor to the right or head straight through the door ahead. If yꦺou decide to jump down, the path down there will lead yo꧅u back up through the same room connected to the door that's currently ahead of you.
So, walk straight through the door to the front, there will be a door that can be opened to your left, and an iron Ayleid gate to your right. The Ayleid gate cannot be opened 🐬right no💧w, so you'll have to go through the regular door that you found on the left.
The door will lead you downstairs aꦍnd onto a bridge through a much larger great hall. If you keep progressing ahead on the bridge, you'll find yourself in front of another iron Ayleid gate with a hole in it.
In most ruins, you might find the button to open these doors right next to t♒he gates themselves, but 💙that's not how it is in Miscarcand.
Unlocking The Iron Ayleid Gates
You'll have to jump down from the bridge and into the great hall. You can either manually head toward the west in this great hall, or simply use the clairvoyance spell to find the path leading upstairs. As you do s🅠o, you'll reach a room with a few goblin🐟s inside it.
Defeat the goblins, and you'll find your first switch to unlock all the gates here. After you press the switch and head upstairs, you'll find yourself back in t🉐he room near the entrance, which has a door to the left leading to the bridge.
Get back on the bridge and head straight ahead towards the Miscarcand Sel Vanua gate. You'll find that the iron Ayleid gate ♋blocking the entrance is now open, and you can progress ༒ahead.
Miscarcand Sel Vanua
As you enter this new area, you'll find many goblins and skeletons fighting each other. Look immediately to your left, or towards the eastern wall of this area, to find another switch to open locked doors. You'll notice that the switch doesn't immediately open any doors, and that's fine. Head towards the south in this room, and you'll find another gate leading downwards.
If you've missed th𒅌e switch here, you'll encounter t💛he locked gates later on in this area and will have to return to this chamber to press the switch.
You'll find yourself in another great hall, with many goblins and skeletons fighting on the bottom floor. You don't have to jump down here. Keep progressing ahead, and you'll come across another gate. This path will lead you downward to a dead end with a switch to your left. This switch 🤪will open another gate in this area.
You'll have to take a step back and head to the passage on the right. Now, head towards the north in this area. You'll find a small pathway with two headless zombies here. Defeat them, and you'll be able to go through the door leading to Miscarcand Morimath.
There are a total of three block switches in Miscarcand. If you've missed any of those, you'll likely encounter a locked iron Ayleid gate during your exploration. If any gate is still up even after pressing these three switches, then you'll have to come around from the other side of the door andඣ press the switch on the floor right in front of the gate to open it.
Miscarcand Morimath
As you head downstairs, you'll find yourself at a crossroads with many zombies in sight. Either you can go left, or you can go downstairs to the right. First, you have to go to the left, and you'll start noticing the greenish hue in the lanterns. You're on the right pa𒈔th, 🌌and you'll find the Great Welkynd Stone in front of you.
After you take the Great Welkynd Stone, the stairs will start popping up from the sides, opening a path for you to get down to the bottom floor, and for the enemies to get up. Picking up the stone will also awaken the King of Miscarcand, a lich that you'll have💎 to fight against, and he'll be standing behind you.
After defeating the King of Miscarcand, you can loot the Miscarcand Key from his corpse. There will be a new chamber just behind the King of Miscarcand with an Ayleid Cask inside of it. If you step on the switch in this room, it will unlock a hidden path, leading to 𝓰an easy exit from this hellish place.
The switch will open two hidden paths, one to your right and the other to your left. The chamber on the right has a few Ayleid chests, but the path to your left is what you're looking for.
Every single gate in this area wiꦿll become locked with very hard d♊ifficulty the moment you take the Great Welkynd Stone from its resting place.
Getting Out Of Miscarcand
If you've taken the hidden path from the King of Miscarcand's chambers, you'll be able to use his key to open up the gate ahead. Alternatively, you can also jump to the bottom floor and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:unlock each maximum difficulty gate with 🌱lockpicks and go out the way you came in, but that💧's a lot longer path.
Using the Miscarcand Key and following the path will lead you straight back to the first level of these ruins. At the end of the path, you'll find yourself with no way to progress forward, but there's a switch on the ground, and if you step on it, it wཧill open up a hidden path, which will lead 🅷you straight to the door leading to the outside world.
As you return to Martin with the Great Welkynd Stone, it will mark the completion of the Miscarcand quest. Martin will inform you tha♑t there's yet another item that you'll need to open the portal, and this one is a lot more reckless than anything you've done so far.
