Oblivion brings back all the memories you cherished in 2006 as a child, and now with the The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, you can relive them with polished visuals, improved graphics, and more fluid gameplay. The best part is getting to enjoy all the villages and DLC in one place while t🐓aking on some of your favorite quꦕests from before, along with a few of the more tedious ones.

Among the more tedious quests you can undertake is Seeking Your Roots. This quest starts off simple but becomes increasingly grindy over time, as it requires you to collect a total of 100 to fully complete it.

How To Start The Seeking Your Roots Quest

In order to trigger the Seeking Your Roots quest, you need to harvest Nirnroot for the first time.

This plant can be found in multiple locations, usually around bodies of water, and it looks green, vibrant, and is easily recognizable.

The closest location to get this plant from is just around the Imperial City Waterfront. There should be at least a few to the east and west, around the water area of this location.

As soon as you pick this item, the Seeking Your Roots quest pops up, indicating that this seems like a rare plant, and you need to find an alchemist to ask about it.

How To Complete The Seeking Your Roots Quest

The alchemist you are seeking is called Sinderion, and he can be found in Skingrad. Speak to him and choose the Nirnroot topic.

Sinderion will then ask you to help him make the Elixir of Exploration, and this will send you to Shadeleaf Copse, just north-east of the town, to find three sprigs of Nirnroot. But that's not all.

The entire quest requires you to find a certain number of Nirnroots for every variation of the elixir.

How To Get Elixir Of Exploration

You start by finding 10, and then when you speak to Sinderion and select the Elixir of Exploration dialogue option, he can begin working on the elixir.

Next, wait 24 hours and then speak to him again. You will receive the Weak version of the potion for the first 10.

Then, he will ask for 20, then 30, and then 40. The process stays the same: collect൩ the required number of Nirnroots, speak to him, and then wait 24 hours for the elixir to be completed.

How To Find Nirnroots

Now, you may wonder where to find all these Nirnroots, as in total you need 100 of them. As mentione🔯d before, these can usually be found by bodies of water, but there are two main locations where you can find all these easily.

• Many can be found around the Imperial City from all directions - north, east, west, south. Just walk along the side of the water, and you will spot them.
• Many can be found between Bravil and Leyawiin: if you start walking from the stable at Bravil and then follow the water path, you can find at least 20 of them.

Keep in mind that these are not the only locations, as you can still find them around t🀅he map.

Even if you complete the quest, you can still turn in Nirnrootsꦑ to Sinderion. However, this time, he will reward you with gold. For every 10 Nirnroots, you will recei♓ve 250 gold.
