Completing Skingrad Recommendation shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes. Le𓆏ss if you don't have trouble finding the enemies you need to clear. We'll go over everything you need to know in this guide.
How To Start Skingrad Recommendation
Provided you've joined the Mage's Guild at any of their chapters, head to Skingrad southwest of the Imperial City. There, speak to Adrienne Berene, the local chapter head.
She'll mention she's been having some trouble with a mage named Erthor, and that s♈he'd like him back at th𒐪e Guildhall as soon as possible.
The trouble is, she isn't sure where he is and suggests you ask around.
How To Find Erthor
Speak to either Sulinus Vassinus or Vigge the Cautious to learn that Erthor is likely at Blea🎶k Flats Cave, but neither of them can ✱tell you exactly where it is.
Speak to Druja the Argonian to mark the cave on your map and get some quest progression. It isn't more than 🉐a couple of hundred meters northwest of Skingrad, and it's not a hard dungeon, either.
How To Clear Bleak Flats Cave And Rescue Erthor
Bleak Flats Cave is a small set of interconnected caverns, linked by a large central chamber. Erthor is at the far end of the cave system, bဣut won't leave his (furnished) cavern until all the zombies are dealt with.
You'll encounter one zombie in the first room, and once it's dead again, head through the small passage in the back-left of the room.
There are an additional two zombies in the main cavern. Clear them, the𓄧n return to the entrance and head down the cave to its left to find another zombie.
Exit and cross the main chamber to the other torchlit passage. In the blue-lit cavern beyond it💧 is another zombie.
Take the passage right of the small hill in the middle of the room, clear the zombie in the next room, and proceed down the path flanked by lit candles.
You'll find Erthor in a rather well-appointed chamber. If you've defeated all the zombies, he'll agree to follow you back to the Mage's Guild. Head to the western edge of the roo🐼m to find a hallway leading up to a false stone wall.
There's also a chest with free loot here, including:

- A Grand Souls Gem
- A Tome
- A Strong
Grab the loot and pull the nearby lever to move the boulder out of the way. Then you can 💟exit the cave and either walk back to Skingrad or fast travel.
Return to Adrienne and wait for her conversation with Erthor to conclude. Once Adrienne and Erthor start moving about the Guildhall, speak to her again and ask🏅 about the recommenda🧸tion.
She'll mention she'll get around to it, which is clue enough that you've completed the Skingrad Recommendation quest.
