Unlike previous quests, you can speak to the Lucky Old Lady's statue at🦂 any time, at which point she'll tell you the name of the person who needs your help and their location.

None of the locations are actually ava𝕴ilable since they're all outside of Cyrodiil in other parts of Tamriel.

Once you speak with The Night Mother, you'll have the contact's name and your quest will update, so you can head back to Cheydinhal right away.

What Rewards Do You Get For Being The Dark Brotherhood's Listener?

Speak with Arquen again, and she thanks you for the information and provides you with your reward: 200 gold.

You can return to the Lucky Old Lady and A♌rquen once every week to perform this qui🍷ck errand and earn a small chunk of gold.

Aside from the gold reward, Arquen will also grow the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, adding new members periodically who you can command to follow you as a companion.

Find these companions in the Dark Brotherhoodꦬ Trai꧂ning Room or Living Quarters, where you can speak to the Murderers and gain their help.

While traveling with you, you can command these companions to do one of five things:

1. Follow you and keep pace.
2. Follow you and remain hidden.
3. Follow you with haste.
4. Stay put in their current spot.
5. Leave your service entirely.

You can also barter with the Murderers here, as they offer a variety of items you might find useful in addition to a selection of spells if you didn't buy them all from Mraaj-Dar.
