The reception to The Outer Worlds has been unbelievable to see, and even just being nominated means a lot," wrote social media manager Shyla in a forum post, adding, "However, the journey isn't over yet as we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the story through DLC next year! Details will be made available at a later date." Fans immediately latched onto this piece of news, but the developers remained tight-lipped, no matter how much fans attempted to sweet-talk them.
Although the game had a smooth release and relatively few bugs, it was still not bug-free (and at some point, having a bug-free game might mean jinxing it).
