Throné is the thief of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2, and is one of the more useful characters as a result. She's fast, she's strong, and she can nab some incredibly useful healing items from enemies - even bosses! You'll find her making her home in New Delsta, the biggest city in Solistia.

If you decide to start the game with Throné, you'll begin her first chapter automatically. However, if you started with one of the other seven characters, you'll have to make your way to New Delsta and confront some hooligans bullying a puppy in daytime before you can recruit Throné.

Battle Phase: Pursuers

Octopath Traveler 2 - Throne fighting against Pursuers

After the opening scenes, Throné and co. are thrust into a battle before you can even take your first steps! You are up against two Pursuers - basic mook enemies that shouldn't pose any threat to you.

In addition to Throné, you have two temporary party members along for the ride. They'll leave the party soon enough, so make use of them while you have them!

  • Scaracci has an Axe and two skills - Cover Me! will let Scaracci take damage in place of an ally - this is good for protecting those low on health - and Heckle is a pretty bad move that reduces everyone's (except Scaracci!) physical defense. Don't use it.
  • Pirro is a Dagger user, like Throné, but lacks her swords. His skills are Slice, a simple Dagger attack, and Sharpen Dagger, which is a very potent self-buff.

The Pursuers are weak to both Daggers and Axes, as well as Darkness (which Throné can exploit through Darkest Night), so everyone is able to hit their weaknesses. When you hit an enemy's weakness, it will reduce their Break Points (symbolized by the shield with a number on it) by one per strike. When they reach zero, enemies are Broken and cannot attack until the turn after the next and take extra damage until then.

Use your simple attacks to Break the two Pursuers. On the next turn, use your Boost Points to empower your stronger skills - Darkest Night and Slice. This should easily defeat them.

Dungeon Phase: Underground Waterway

Octopath Traveler 2 - Underground Waterway beneath New Delsta

After the fight, it becomes clear that Donnie is no longer for this world and it's up to the trio to escape with their lives. You're prompted to head to the left, but head to the right instead to find a chest that contains a Protective Ring. This accesso𝔉ry increases your defensive stats♚. Equip it to Throné.

Now, move to the left, as the minimap in the lower right corner of the screen instructs. You'll encounter more Pursuers as you move through the sewers, but you should▨ be able to handle them very easily.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Cutscene during Throne Chapter 1 with a guard

When you reach the wooden bridge that leads south, take it to reach a chest containing a Healing Grape. Further along to the left on the original path, you'll hit a cutscene - this sequence serves as the tutorial to Throné's nighttime Path Action, Ambush. This allows 𓂃Throné to knock NPCs unconscious, as long as it is nighttime and ♓she is at a high enough level.

There are other characters who can knock NPCs out (Hikari, Castti, and Ochette) but their methods in🦋volve an element of risk or requirဣe resources.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Ambushing a pursuer guard

After the cutscene, climb up the ladder, walk along the ledge to the left, and then down the other ladder. Sneak up behind the guard and use your Path Action to knock him out.

Battle Phase: Pursuer Leader

Octopath Traveler 2 - Pursuer Leader fight

This is another easy battle, but it's against more enemies than usual. There are two Pursuers backing the Leader up, but you can deal with them easily.

The Pursuer Leader is weak to Axes and Darkness, so only Thron&eacutꦦe; and Scaracci can lower his Break Points. Keep Pirro focused on Breaking and defeating the Pursuers, and use the other two to Break the Leader.

Town Phase: New Delsta

Octopath Traveler 2 - The New Delsta Game Parlor at night

After the scenes, you'll be in the New Delsta Backstreets with the objective of making it back to the hideout. The hideout is the game parlor located at the back of the area, to the right of the buildings in front of you. When you enter the game parlor, you'll meet Father. After this scene, walk forward a few steps and then select the option to wait for Mother to meet the matriarch of the nest.

After the harrowing scenes, you'll be on top of a building in the backstreets again. Climb down the ladder and return to the game parlor. Inside, Father will reveal the identity of the traitor and send you to kill them by infiltrating Diamante's Estate, where the traitor is on a job of their own.

This is when you'll get the tutorial for Throné's daytime Path Action, Steal. This is one of the many ways that you can acquire items from NPCs, which is also available to other characters (Osvald, Partitio, and Agnea). Throné's method is simple, it lets you attempt to steal items from NPCs with a chance of getting caught. Failing will reduce your reputation in the current area by one step - if your reputation falls to zero, you'll have to pay off a bartender in a tavern to recover it.

Throné's success rate will increase with her level. The rarer items, ജhowever, will alway𝄹s have a low success rate when stealing.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Throne stealing and then wearing the brothel girl's clothes

Walk to the front of the map and then up the stairs to the right - the Brothel Girl here is your target. Use your Path Action and steal the Brothel Girl's Clothes. It'll have a 100 percent success rate, so don't worry about your reputation.

With the disguise complete, head up the stairs to the right into New Delsta proper and then all the way to the right to enter Diamante's Estate.

Dungeon Phase: Diamante's Estate

Octopath Traveler 2 - Throne and a guard in Diamante's Estate

After being escorted in by the guards, Ambush the guard outside the room. Once that's complete, save your game and start moving up to the higher floors in the Estate. You'll be accosted by random battles here, and you're alone, so don't be afraid to use Healing Grapes if you get low on health. Alternatively, purchase the HP Thief skill - this is a very useful mo💮ve for Breaking enemies weak to Dagger attacks, too,ꦜ as it hits twice.

Before climbing the grand stairs in the middle of the lobby, open the chest to the left for 1,200 leaves. There's another chest in the room at the top of the stairs that contains a Shadow Soulstone, whi𒆙ch is an item you can use in battle to deal Da♏rkness damage.

Octopath Traveler 2 - The Peddler in Diamante's Estate

There are two more chests to open on the upper level - a Long Sword in a red chest near the dead guards and an Inspiriting Plum at the far end of the corridor.

Save your game and purchase some Healing Grapes from the convenient Peddler before entering the room to the back. Walk through the broken window to start the final cutscene before this chapter's boss.

Boss Phase: Pirro

Octopath Traveler 2 - Pirro Boss Fight with Throne Boosting

Pirro, the surprise boss of the chapter, has five Break Points and three weaknesses. He is weak to Swords and Darkness.

As he is not weak to Daggers, you cannot use HP Thief to quickly reduce Pirro's Break Points. Instead, you'll have to rely on normal sword attacks. Once you have a healthy stock of BP stored and Pirro's close to being Broken, don't shy away from Boosting a regular attack to drain his Break points quickly. Once broken, unleash a boosted Darkest Night (or Surprise Attack, if you have it).

Every now and then, Pirro will use Hesitation - this is basically him skipping his turn. Don't worry about it.

When he's been damaged significantly, Pirro and Throné will have a short conversation. This signifies the second phase ⛦of the fight. Pirro will become resolved, gain a boost to his physical attack, and will no longer hesitate.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Pirro Boss Fight with Pirro Aura

When Pirro steels his resolve and a strong aura surrounds him, it's a sign that he's going to use his ultimate attack, which will deal a lot of damage. If you can deal with all of Pirro's Break points with a boosted regular Sword attack here, do so. Otherwise, heal up with a Healing Grape and pray that you have the defensibil𒆙ity🐓 to survive.

Apart from steeling his resolve and charging his ultimate attack, Pirro doesn't have any special tricks up his sleeves. Just heal when you get low on health. If you find yourself running o🦹ut of Healinꦬg Grapes, you may need to restart the game and purchase more from the Peddler.

After the fight, the chapter is over. If Throné is your first character, you'll be dropped outside New Delsta, otherwise you'll simply resume your conversation with her.
