There's a new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Oddworld game coming out in 2020 — a follow-up to 2014's Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty — and the developers are intentionally keeping everyone in the dark about it. But the recent spat of short teasers for Oddworld: Soulstorm say one thing for sure: it's not going to shy aw☂ay from the dark, unsettling themes that made the orꦏiginal games great.
New and Tasty was more or less a remake of the original Oddworld game, Abe's Odyssey, wherein the titular Abe helps his fellow Mudokon slaves escape a meat-processing plant before they're used as the main ingredient for "Mudokon Pops." The obvious next stem, then, would be to remake the sequel, Abe's Exodus, but the developers apparently wanted to go in another direc✨tion.
The describes Oddwo🦩rld: Soulstorm as 🔴"a fresh narrative - a complete story retake inspired by our original tale."
While the exact direction this "story retake" will bring Abe is unknown, the short teasers have made a point of showing that parts of the game will 𓃲be as unnerving as ever.
The teasers that the game will still involve side-scrolling gameplay, and finding ways to lead your fellow Mudokons to safety. The official blurb does promise "intelligent new mechanics, twisted new devices enabling highly explosive deviousness," though the footage doesn't do much to demonstrate what these new mechanics are.
What we do know, from both official staꦇtements and previous trailers, is that the story will involve Abe and the 300 freed Mudokons trying to make their way out of the desert that surrounds their previous place of "employment." There also appears to be destructible environments, enemies that are more capable than in previous games, and apparently, even more new games to come.
Soulstorm apparently tried to to get itself voted the most-anticipated Unity game, and while it lost out to Ori and the Will of the Wisps, fans of the Oddworld games are no doubt waiting anx💟iously for the new game'🥃s release.
