It points out that the Resident Evil Village announcement trailer which was aired at the PS5 reveal event in June depicts an older version of the Umbrella logo, different to the logo seen in Resident Evil 7. Umbrella as it appears in Resident Evil 7 is painted in a more friendly (rather than an antagonꦫistic) light, having been reformed and now going by the name Blue Umbrella. Given this new detail from the next game's trailer, is it possible that Umbrella will be throwing it back to its more sinister antics?
The Resident Evil community has been abuzz with other hypotheses and rumors too since the game's reveal. Like perhaps (which could fit in well with Umbrella's more antagonistic portrayal that might feature in the game), and that Village will address - a la🏅ck of enemy variety and fans' de🍬sire for more areas like the Baker house.
Village's 2021 release date can't come soon enough.
