There is absolutely no part of this story that makes any sense. This magical land is full of skateboarders who just want to chill, eat, skate, rinse and repeat. This certainly sounds like a great way of life, however, it boggles the mind, to say the least. Are the skate gods just so darn chill that they each rule their land thi🍸s way?
The fact that you r🎃andomly roll up to Radlantia, chat up the locals, and are then offered the chance at becoming the next coveted skate wizard simply doesn't add up. Either way, it makes for an incredibly fun journey through Radlantia where skating is all that matters, oh, and i🅠ce cream.
3 💦 Thꦆe Skate Gods Are So Chill
Radlantia is "ruled" by various skate gods who really only seem toꦯ want the best for their people. The fact that Radlantia is a relatively small island continent but is still managed by ﷺfive different skate gods is quite confus🌸ing. Each one of them is seemingly benevolent and downright chill.
How do these beings become skate gods? Do the skate wizards eventually ascend to Gnarvana to replace another god who then goes into some sort of ethereal retirement? Okay, these questions might be a bit too existential but they𒁃 deserve to be mentioned since the narrative in OlliOlli World is front and center.
2 Endless Respawning Has To Cause Some Pr🤪oblems, Right? 🌄
Oftent🔜imes videos games don't really explain how respawning works. It's sort of just assumed to be the norm. However, in the case of OlliOlli World, there is actually an in-game explanation, even if it's quite vague on the details. As they say, ignorance is bliss, right?
Early on in the game, during th❀e tutorials, you are taught that if and when you crash, bail, or otherwise biff it, you will be respawned back at a checkpoint or the start of the stage. How does this work exactly? Well, the current skate wizard Chiffon is able to use her special powers to respawn you as many times as you see fit. There definitely have to be some long-term side effects you would think.

As you progress through the various stages you will start to constantly unlock new cosmetic rewards to adorn your character with. In terms of raw gameplay and progression, it's downright awesome to always get something new to equip to your charac𝔉ter, however, who the heck is making all of these products? Also, why are we get🉐ting them seemingly for free?
