The manga and anime series 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:One Piece, originally created by Eichiro Oda, is one of the most popular manga and anime series to receive international recognition, and it even holds the record for best-selling mang𒅌a of all time. After running for over two decades and still going strong, it has received plenty of video games, with most of them being Japan-exclusive releases.
While the more recent One Piece vid♉eo games have received international releases, there are about 25 One Piece games that were never released outside of Japan, spanning se🦩veral console generations. However, some games are more notable than others.
10 ܫ⛎ One Piece: Become The Pirate King
The first video game based on One Piece, Become The Pirate King, was released for the Japan-exclusive Wonderswan handheld system in 2000. Become The Pirate King loosely follows the events o🥀f the East Blue Saga, from the Romance Dawn arc to the Loguetown arc and One Piece: The Movie, which in the game is called the Eldoraggo Arc, named after the villain. Gameplay is split between exploration and combat, and both mechanics are based around the tiles placed by the player. The Straw Hat crew are not the only playable characters either, with 36 chaﷺracters in total making their first playable appearance.
9 Chopper's Big Adventure
Chopper's Big Adventure is a dungeon-crawling RPG released for the WonderSwan Color in 2003. In Chopper's Big Adventure, the other six members of the Straw Hat crew at the time have all been turned into animals, and it's up to Chopper to figure out why this has happened and how to turn his crewmates back into their original human forms.
Chopper's Big Adventure also features two original characters of an unknown species, the main antagonist named Fang and an ally named Raccoon. However, their animal-like qualities make them similar to the Mink Tribe introduced during the Zou arc over a decade later.
8 One Piece: Birth of Luffy's Dream Pirate Crew!
One Piece: Birth Of Luffy's Dream Pirate Crew! was the first One Piece game to launch on the Game Boy Color, and released for the popular Nintendo handheld in 2001. Birth Of Luffy's Dream Pirate Crew is a turn-based tactical RPG that, similar to Become The Pirate King, follows the events of the East Blue Saga but ends after the Arlong Park arc. Like other turn-based tactical games, players can use their characters to move, attack, use special attacks called finishers, use items, or wait. The player can also recruit some enemies when the correct requirements are met.
7 🥀 Set Sail Pirate Crew! 🦋
Set Sail Pirate Crew was released for the original PlayStation in 2001 and, interestingly, has the Straw Hat crew as support characters while the Gejitsu Pirates, a crew of three original characters created for the game, serve as the playable protagonists. In the game, the Straw Hat pirates have been separated, and it's up to the Gejitsu Pirates to help Usopp find the other crew members. Set Sail Pirate Crew! features two separate gameplay sections, sailing and crew fights. When sailing, the player has to fire cannons at obstacles and enemy ships and manage the ship's food supply, while crew fights are turn-based and use a card system.
6 One Piece: Ocean's Dream
One Piece: Ocean's Dream was released for the original PlayStation in 2003 and later received a remake on Game Boy Advance titled One Piece: Dragon Dream! just two years later, along with a filler arc in the anime series. In Ocean's Dream, all the members of the Straw Hat Pirates lose their memories after encountering a mysterious boy named Noko. Luckily, Mr. 2 Bon Clay is around to help the Straw Hats regain their memories. Like some previous One Piece games, Ocean's Dream is split between exploration, ship combat, and character battles; however, character battles involve the player using different cards against their opponent.
5 One Piece: Going Baseball ꦬ 💜
One Piece: Going Baseball is a sports game featuring characters from the series playing baseball and was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. Although the game isn't canon, it seems to occur either during or directly after the Skypeia arc. In addition to the Story Mode, where the Straw Hat crew has to compete against other teams composed of characters from other pirate crews, there is also a mini-game mode. The anime short Take Aim! The Pirate Baseball King, which was based on the game, even included a password for the game that briefly appears on the scoreboard.
4 One Piece: Treasure Battle! ꦆ
One Piece: Treasure Battle! is a party game released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002 featuring seven different game modes. Although Treasure Battle! is a party game, it does have a story where the Straw Hat Pirates plus a handful of characters from the series join a competition known as the Treasure Battle cl🅰ash. In this contest, teams of two compete to gain Treasure Cards which will supposedly fulfill the wishes and dreams of anyone who possesses one. Treasure Battle also features one game original character, the newspaper reporter Rocky Hattari.
3 One Piece: Round The Land! ꦫ☂
One Piece: Round The Land!ꦅ is a 2.5D sidescrolling action game released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004. Round The Land! features an original story but still has levels based on previous arcs from the series up to the Skypeia arc, with a handful of characters from those arcs making an appearance. Blyue, an original antagonist created for the game, is a giant who ate the Mini Mini no Mi, which allows him to reduce his size. Although Blyue has never appeared in the anime, the filler character Lily Enstomach may be based on him and has the same Devil Fruit powers.
2 One Piece: Gigant Bꦰa📖ttle! 2 - New World
While the first Gigant Battle! game did receive a European release, the second, One Pi💛ece: Gigant Battle! 2 - New World, was only ever released in Japan, launching on the Nintendo DS in 2011. Gigant Battle! 2 has the biggest roster of any One Piece game, with 45 playable characters and around 100 support characters in total.
Gigant Battle! 2 also features eight new stages, a skill system, a 3D adventure mode map, no crouching sprites and is the first One Piece game to feature the Straw Hat Pirates in their post-time skip outfit꧃s.
1 💝One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum 💛
After the immense success and positive fan reception of DragonBall FighterZ, fans were wondering 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:which anime series Arc System Works would develop a fighting game for next. Some assumed (or hoped) that One Piece would be next; little did the💦y know that Arc System Works had already released One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum on the Nintendo 3DS in 2016. Great Pirate Colosseum features a noticeably smaller roster of characters than Giga♐nt Battle! 2, with only 23 playable characters and around 80 support characters, but it can connect with Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden so that characters from each game can fight each other.
