In Ooblets, one of the main🌺 objectives of the game is to improve Badgetown. To do this, you'll need to gather a variety of resources to upgrade or fix buildings and machines. While some of them are easy to acquire, Oobsidian is much harder to find.
As you progress through the game and take on larger and more complex building projects, you'll find that Oobsidian is often required. There are actually several options aꦜvailable for Oobsidian gathering, but they each have differing levels of success. Here's how you can start to build up a stash🐲 of this valuable resource.
Smash Rocks
Each day you'll notice that rocks, logs, and weeds will appear in empty spaces on your farm. These can be smashed to produce a variety of resources. Rocks will often yield Nurnys but can also give you Oobsidian. The more rocks ღyou smash each day, the higher chance you have of being able to acquire at least on🌜e or two Oobsidian per day.
Keep an eye out around the town as well si𝔍nce rocks can also spawn in other places in Badgetඣown, including gardens and grass patches.
Collect Them From Gleamy Ooblets
If you assign gleamy Ooblets to tend your Oobcrops, you♑ can not only reap the benefits of not having to tend your own farm, but you may also get some valuable deposits too.
Gleamy Ooblets have a chance to drop Oobsidian as they go about their work – so make sure you 🧸check your farm for surpriseᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs each day!
Go Sea Dangling
Oobsidian can also be fisheꦯd up from the ocean by going sea dangling on the pier. This is a little more complex than bashing rocks yet can still be done easily each day.
At the entrance to the pier, you'll see the Reconstitooter machine. In order to acquire the bait you'll need for fishing, add rubbish or other items into here. You can then use these to craft 🔯bait and fish from the pier, where you'll have a rare chance to fish up Oobsidian.
Search The Town
Badgetown also encourages exploring. You can enter houses and look in corners and under flowerpots as well as around the town. Searching👍 can not only uncover recipes, but you can also find Oobsidian.
While it's a rare find, it's worth checking under anything that allows you to pick it up. It may seem li🌊ke stealing... but you can just blame t💟he mayor.
Make A Wish
In the middle of town stands the wishing well. Here🍰 you can cash in the wishies you earn from completing tasks, fulfilling missions, and participating in dance battles.
If you have 100 wishies you can exchange them for one Oobsidian. It's expensive, sure, but it's the only guaranteed way to get the rare resource – so it can ༺be worth it to complete a project!
