Inꦉ video games, handguns serve as nice little alterna🔴tives to larger guns. They’re usually easier to handle while still having a fair amount of versatility in most situations.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Outer Worlds certainly has a nice assortment of handguns to use. Which ones are the best though? Well, that’s what we’re about to find out. Note that Mk 2, Ultra, and other upgraded variants of standard weapons in the game are essentially the same as those standard variants. They just have an extra mod slot, which gives them more utility potential. This list also won’t be accounting for the recent 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Peril on Gorgon DLC and will exclude any sci🦋ence weaponಌs to keep things fair.
10 Irion’s Flintlock ♔
The first weapon on this list is probablꦇy a good example of uniquely named weapons in this game can be a little underwhelming. After sav🎐ing Captain Irion from a group of outlaws on Scylla, the player receives his pistol.
Irion’s Flintlock looks exactly like a standard Auto-Mag Pistol except it shoots two round bursts instead of being a single shot per trigger pull. Kind of cool, but it takes a fire rate hit compared to a regular Auto-Mag due to this. That might sound weird, but remember, a standard Auto-Mag can fire almost as fast as the player pulls the trigger. This one💎 must briefly wait between burst𝓰s. It also does bonus weakspot damage. Other than that, there isn’t anything considerably special about it. Since it’s a unique weapon, it also can’t be modded, losing out in the maximum potential category. It’s a solid handgun all things considered, though.
9 The Negotiator 📖
A Bolter variant that the player receives after completing all of Sublight’s quests. Being a plasma-based weapon that can’t be modded as well as only having a two-shot burst instead of the standard Bolter three, its utility is rather limited compared to other weapons on this ♈list. Compared to most other average handguns in the game, though, this one is solid enough even with its limiters.
Like most other named weapons in the game though, that’s about where its interesting details stop. , it doesn’t even seem to be as powerful as the regular Bolter 2.0, which is pretty weird considering the game says it has a higher DPS rating at its base leve🎶l. Either way, without the utility of extra mods, it might as well just be another vanilla pistol just with plasma damage.
8 Bolter Pisto🥃l 2.0 🍎
The Bolt🀅er 2.0 is a pistol that fires in three-round bursts. Unlike the Negotiator, this Bolter can be modded, allowing its potential to still stay rather high.
Its largest flaw is its low DPS and flat damage potential compared to other non-unique handguns in the game. The plasma damage is great for burning and post-armor situations, but that doesn’t totally make up for its damage shortcomings. A mod to switch up its damage type or add some additional critical damage can mitigate this, but it’s sti⭕ll not entirely ideal. Still, some options are better than none.
7 🐟 Ultimatum/Ultimate Boltor 🧸
Here’s where things get a little more interesting. The Ultimatum and Ultimate Bolter get lumped in together as they’re essentially the same thing. The player just receives them through slightly different means; one route is through Orson at Roseway. The other is through Gꦰladys at Tꦫhe Groundbreaker.
At any rate, this little handgun is basically a light pistol with plasma rounds as its default ammo. The catch is that its rounds ricochet off of the environment. Pretty cool if you want to get a deadly laser light show going. Its practicality may be debatable, but it’s s𒅌till a solid handgun if you’🦩re literally in a tight spot and those rounds get to bouncing.
6 🦹 Ulti-Nature
The Ulti-Nature is the second reward the player receives from Orson should they choose to go his route during the Vulcan’s Hammer quest. It’s supposedly Aꦯuntie Cleo’s first weapon. If that’s the case, she was a smart lady to prefer corrosive rounds.
This gun is basically the Ultimatum, but with corrosion damage as it’s d🌞efault instead of plasma damage. Corrosive damage is a very useful elemental damage types in the game which is why it gets a jump up above its counterpart. Other than that, there isn’t much difference between the two. Still doesn’t make either of them any less fun to play around with, though.
5 ౠ ⛎ Revolver Mk 2
Exactly what it says ཧon the tin. It’s a revolver with six rounds in the chamber that each hit for very high flat damage. Its fire rate also isn’t too bad either, meaning that it’s DPS is around average for most non-unique handguns.
A trusty weapon that any space adventurer wou🌊ldn’t mind having on their hip. Its only real drawback is perhaps playing second fiddle to its cousin the Vermin when it comes to just raw flat damage output. The damage difference isn’t too huge though, so the revolver is still a solid choice.
4 Light Pistolꦚ Mk 2 😼
Speaking of solid choices, you can’t really go wrong with the Light Pistol. It’s a modest weapon with very high DPS potไential but low flat damage. When it comes to handguns, though, trusty and reliable may be all you need. If so, the Light Pistol has the player covered.
This weapon is pro🍃bably the most flexible when it comes to what mods the player want to put on it. Any kind of modifier will probably fit right at home on it. Flexibility is always a nice feature, and this weapon can keep a player confident no matter what.
3 ꦍ ꦑ Salvager's Helper
Perhaps the most impactful named handgun in the game. Available via Gladys on Groundbreaker, Salvager’s Helper is actually a weapon the player can get pretty early on in the game. It’s also possibly the first default corrosive weapon the player can encounter. That’s ܫpretty great considering how much of a beast this weapon can be turned into. It just might be a little expensive.
If you can manage to max this bad boy’s level out, it has one of the highest DPS rates in the game. No other handgun’s DPS even comes close to this one’s. It’s a shame that it can’t be modded just like any other named weapon on this list. It also has a fairly🧸 long reload cycle. Its damage potential, moderately sized magazine, and default dama💎ge type does make up for these things quite well, though.
2 🉐 The🦩 Vermin II
Probably one of the most stylish looking handguns in the game in terms of ruggedness, the Vermin is just a straig♏ht-up hand cannon. A bit more powerful than the revolver but with lower DPS potential, the Vermin is a single shot juggernaut.
If you’re accurate enough, this thing is sure to drop most unsuspecting foes with a few shots. The rate of fire is fairly slow and it’s got some pretty h𒅌eavy recoil for a handgun, but its flat damage output will be sure to put in the legwork if🌠 you can take advantage of every shot.
1 Auto-Mag Pistol Ultrꦿa ꧋
If you’re looking for a soli𒁃d handgun choice that will check all the boxes of speed, accuracy, power, and utility then there’s no better choice than the good old Auto-Mag.
With a nice rate of fire and modꦉerate flat damage, this beauty will be sure to put down anyone or anything that tries to get in your way. A moderate to high performing handgun in most comparable aspects, the Auto-Mag is a great choice if you aren’t really sure what handgun you really want to stick with. It’s no doubt a go-to for many situations.
