Here's a list of the best weapons for the Devastator, with tips for specific playstyles. We'll generally focus on Legendary weapons here as these are the guns you want to be aiming for to start acing Expeditions with a Gold challenge tier. Remember, all secondary mods on the Legendary guns below can be changed: w𒀰e just reference whatever mod we found on our weapons, or the we𒁃apons we've seen online.
7 📖𝓰 Golem's Limb, Legendary Shotgun
There are loads of Legendary shotguns in Outriders, and the Golem's Limb is best suited for a tanky Devastator build that wants to sponge damage and act as the main target for enemies during Expedition runs. You can check out our guide on the bes🌜t Devastator build 🔴here.
This Legendary pump-action shotgun comes kitted out with the Golem Rising mod, a tier 3 mod that grants a protective Golem shield (a bit like your Golem ability on the Devastator) on each killing shot. It also comes with the Bone Shrapnel mod attached, w♒hich creates an explosion of AOE damage with each killing shot. Oh, 🥂and the Golem's Limb looks pretty awesome as well.
6 ﷽ Deathshield, Legendary Shotgun 🌠
This automatic shotgun is a beast. The Deathshield comes with the powerful Fortress mod, which boosts your damage according to h🎐ow much armor you've sꦐtacked on the Devastator. With the right build, this weapon is an absolute monster.
It also comes with the tier 2 Striga mod, which ♛restores health according to critical damage, a flat 30 percent heal for every critical shot. Not bad, not bad at all. This shotgun encourages you to get up close and personal and start blasting enemies to pieces. Bonus: looks cool, has a shield on top.
5 ﷽ Body Snatcher, 𒁃Legendary Shotgun
The Body Snatcher is a Legendary pump-action shotgun ideal for a Devastator build that focuses on close-range damage. It includes the powerful Body Snatcher mod that teleports a new enemy to the location where you've just slain another. This means you can chain together close-range attacks without having to run all over the place. It's probably one of the best mods in the gamꦅe for the Devastator.
Additionally, the Body Snatcher includes the Soul Devourer mod, which allows you to regen health with every killing shot. We've some impressive kill chains with this weapon. The Devastator can just sit there and blast enemies to pieces one after anoꦡther. Gives a bit of space for your team, too.
4 🦹 🐟 The Anemoi, Legendary Shotgun
The Anemoi is a Legendary automatic shotgun that deals a lot of AOE damage, ideal if you find yourself right in the center of a big pack of enemies. It comes with the Tier 3 Moaning Winds mod that causes your reloads to deal a burst of damage with a range of eight meters.
It also deals AOE damage through the secondary mod, Anomaly Surge. This tier 1 mod means critical hits will deal a burst of Anomaly damage in a range of 2 meters. The Anemoi is a very fu♓n weapon to use. Even though it has a small magazine 𒅌size, it packs a serious punch.
3 𓆏 🌟 Fatal Symbiont, Legendary SMG
The Legendary Fatal Symbiont drains your health to provide a weapon boost. With the right Devastator build (one that prioritizes health regen) this weapon can become immensely powerful. Check out whether this weapon makes it to ou⭕r list of best Legendary guns in the game.
This is all thanks to the Tier 3 Dark Sacrifice mod. Your weapon will drain a percentage of your maximum health and convert it to a weapon damage boost. If you're killing enemies quickly and within close range, then you should be able to out heal the health drain. Its secondary mod, Bleeding Bullets, applies the Bleed debuff to enemies.
2 🉐 The Daimyo, Legendary SMG
The Daimyo is another Legendary SMG, this time particularly suited to crowd control. With the Ultimate Storm Whip mod (which brings down lightning on any enemies you hit) and the Improved Stiffening mod (which inflicts slow on your opponents), this weapon is suited to combat thatꦉ has lots of enemies in play.
There's quite a lot of synergy available with the slow debuff: it gives your allies extra time to deal damage before becoming overrun, and it makes it easier for you to kite enemies and wait for skill cooldowns. It's a great weapon for tricky Expeditions.
1 Torment & Agony, Legenda💛ry Pistols 𒅌
It's not an easy task of picking just one set of Legendary pistols for the Devastator. The class actually works very well with most of the Legendary Pistols, but for the sake of this list, we're going 🍬to go for the Torment & Agony. Why?
They deal loads of damage. These fully automatic pistols have a quick reload time, deal AOE damage on reloads with the Clip Combustion mod (perfect for a Devastator in the middle of a swarm of enemies), and the Judgment Enforcer marks enemies and can deal up to 5x weapon damage. These were some𓆏 of the firs𒈔t legendaries we picked up and they were useful, particularly for the earlier Expedition grind.
