A brand new Outriders trailer was rece✨ntly revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2020, offering sci-fi aficionados a fresh look at the upcoming ability-based shooter.

Developed by Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgement dev People Can Fly and published by Square Enix, Outriders takes place on a mysterious - and treacherous - planet called Enoch. Here, the player is tasked with finding a curious force known simply as The Source. The game plays out as an ability-based, third-person shooter and is strictly co-op. Players colla𝔍borate by taking on raids comprised of hostile creatures from the world's weird variety of fauna, and progress by collecting unique loot in order to defeat viciously powerful bosses - although, despite how that might sound, Outriders is not a games-as-a-service title.

"I have become te🐽rror," says an ambiguous voice in the trailer. "The unseen predator, a ruptu♎re that obliterates without warning."

"Al🍃one, the hordes of Enoch will fall before me," it continues. It's a mysteriously harrowing spiel to rattle off,  bꦿut it's effective at evoking Enoch's atmosphere.

As the trailer progresses, we g🌌et a look at the flora, fauna, and landscapes that make this world unique. From gargantuan scarab beetles to sabre-toothed, alien quadrಞupeds that would make an African Big Cat quake in its boots, the animal population of Enoch includes a diverse range of ferocious predators. There's even an armored leviathan that looks like a cross between a demogorgon and the Hulk - a formidable foe, for sure.

These curious creatures occupy vast deserts, inconspicuous shrines, and long-dilapidated ruins, all of which the player is tasked with exploring on their long and arduous quest to u𝔍ncover The Source and save humanity from extinction on an alien planet.
