One of the most innovative systems in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Outriders is the mod system. Effects 𝄹from rares to Legendaries can be applied to any item you desire, allowing for some downright overpowered combinations.
Legendary armor sets can help compliment these combinations. While they don't play as large of a role in buildcrafting as in most ARPGs, legendary sets in Outriders can still give your build useful bonuses or devastating T3 mods. The Trickster sets offer some powerful mods and set bonuses that players will want to check out, although some are much stronger than others. Today, we'll be ranking all four of the Trickster's legendary armor sets from worst to best.
Updated November 28th, 2022, by Charles Burgar: Outriders' Worldslayer expansion released two new Legendary gear sets for the Trickster. While some additional class-agnostic sets were also added in this expansion, most of them aren't very good. Thankfully, that isn't the case with the Terminal Velocity and Shieldbeast sets. Both Legendary armor sets have shaken up the Trickster meta somewhat, giving players new ways to spec into Firepower, Anomaly, and hybrid builds. We've updated this guide to include both gear sets and updated a few entries to reflect any balance changes that occurred with the launch of Worldslayer.

6 �🐟� Chronosuit
Chronosuit Set Bonus: Reverting time replenishes ammo in your clip.
The Chronosuit legendary set allows players to auto-load their weapon when activating Borrowed Time's second effect, maintaining the effects of Twisted Rounds. Every T3 Mod from this set revolves around maintaining or refreshing Borrowed Time and Twisted Rounds. This set also comes with great attributes, focusing mostly on Bonus Firepower and Close Range Damage.
Compared to its competition, the Chronosuit is mediocre. It has some solid attributes (Bonus Firepower and Close Range Damage), although it doesn't match the Trespasser or Shieldbeast sets. Chronosuit does feature some of the strongest mods for Firepower Tricksters, but you can easily dismantle the Chronosuit piece and apply it onto a better Legendary set. Even if you wanted to use Borrowed Time, you're making a rather large sacrifice in your build.
Many Twisted Round builds focus on using Hunt the Prey instead of Borrowed Time due to the shorter cooldown and mobility tied to that skill, allowing you to clear Expeditions faster than other builds can. Borrowed Time Firepower builds can still manage 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:high Apocalypse Tier Expeditions with little issue, but that has nothing to do with the Chronosuit's lackluster set bonus or some of its T3 mods. Most Twisted Round builds will use the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Twisted Rounds mods provide𒁃d by Chronosuit and disregard the set bꦰonus entirely.
5 Ugake Otarah ไ 🐭
Ugake Otarah Set Bonus: Hunt the Prey does not consume cooldown when teleporting behind an enemy marked with Venator's Knife.
Ugake Otarah has become much less powerful with the release of new Legendary sets and overall balance changes. That isn't to say Ugake Otarah is weak, however; it's far from it. Its set bonus allows you to teleport across the battlefield with no issue, allowing you to clear Expeditions at blazing speeds. But the real strength of the set comes from the headpiece's Instant Reload perk. This makes your current weapon replenish its entire magazine when you use Hunt the Prey. When coupled with the set bonus, you effectively have infinite ammo in every gunfight. Even if you're fighting just one Elite, you can do the following:
- Shoot your weapon until it's almost empty.
- Throw a Venator's Knife and use Hunt the Prey for a free teleport.
- Shoot your weapon until it's almost empty.
- Use Hunt the Prey again.
- Shoot your weapon until it's almost empty.
You effectively get two instant reloads whenever you need it, potentially infinite if you have multiple enemies to teleport between. And with the instant cooldown of Hunt the Prey, you'll be able to bounce between groups of enemies with little issue.
As for the rest of the set, most Ugake Otarah armor pieces come with Bonus Firepower and Close Range damage as their attributes—perfect for a Twisted Rounds build. Most T3 mods on this set are more suited towards Anomaly builds utilizing Venator's Knife, yet the helmet mod is so powerful that it more than makes up for that. This set gives you free teleports, instant reloading at will, and a solid amount of bonus weapon damage. If you love Twisted Rounds and don't mind using a pump-action shotgun or sniper rifle, the Ugake Otarah set is nothing short of fantastic.
4 💯 Edge Of Time ♉
Edge of Time Set Bonus: Increase damage for both Temporal Blade and Cyclone Slice by 100%.
While they take some work to set up, Anomaly builds are some of the most fun you can have in Outriders. Casting multiple abilities in quick suc൲cession and watching hordes of enemies subsequently explode never gets old.
The Edge of Time set helps with that, d♏oubling the damage of your Temporal Blade and Cyclone Slice. One-shotting tougher enemies with a good skill rotation is actually possible with this set, making an Anomaly Trickster viable in CT15 content. Mods for the Edge of ♏Time set also allow you to tank hits with Cyclone Slice, allowing you to solo Expeditions more easily.
This set also comes with an excellent suite of attributes. Wit🅺h the right items, this set gives a noticeable boost to your Anomaly Power, Cooldown Reduction stat, and Skill Life Leech. Those stats are perfect for any Anomaly build.
That's the issue, though. Anomaly builds have a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:much larger focus on perfect gear, mods, attributes, and skill rotations to stay competitive with Firepower alternatives. There's no denying that Anomaly builds are incredibly satisfying to play, using the Trickster's kit as a time-bending ninja of death. Yet the work requi🤪red to reach that level of efficiency is far greater than what a Firepower build needs to come online.
If you're looking for a set that will make Anomaly Trickster viable in the endgame, the Edge of Time set is unquestionably the best set in the game. However, if you are looking for a build with easy gearing and good clear speed, it's tough to recommend an Anomaly Trickster unless you're willing to farm Expeditions for hours on end.
3 ꦿ ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Terminal Velocity
Terminal Velocity Set Bonus: Activating movement skills, rolling, sprinting, and having Borrowed Time active during combat generates Anomaly Velocity that boosts weapon damage by upཧ to 60% and decays over time. Additionally, your roll is replaced with Phantom Dash, allowing you to pass through enemies.
Firepower Trickster builds have been overshadowed by Anomaly and hybrid variants with the release of New Horizons, but that doesn't mean Firepower builds are bad. Terminal Velocity is a set tailored towards raw Firepower builds for Tricksters, granting a massive damage buff if you're actively moving and have Borrowed Time active.
In a sense, Terminal Velocity is a much better version of the Chronosuit set that does a better job encouraging players to use Borrowed Time. You'll need to be actively moving and have Borrowed Time active for this set to function, but the bonus damage is certainly worth it. Paired with a Firepower-focused Twisted Rounds build can pump out some incredible damage, especially if you spec for Assault weapons through your class 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and PAX trees. It also comes with Phantom D🐟ash intrinsical♐ly, which is a nice plus.
2 🅷 Trespasse🎉r
Trespasser Set Bonus: Increase damage by 5% per enemy affected by a Deception skill. You cannot die while inside Slow Trap.
The Trespasser set was easily the worst Trickster armor set at launch, granting players death immunity while in Slow Trap. Due to the clearspeed meta that was present at the time, Slow Trap was simply a terrible skill. It didn't hasten your Expedition times, so virtually no player used it.
The New Horizon update has given the Trespasser set a major facelift. Not only are Expeditions not timed anymore, but this set also received an additional bonus. Every enemy that's affected by a Deception skill will increase your damage by 5% across the board. Just like the Pyromancer's Acari set, this effect stacks with every enemy affected.
Deception skills include Venator's Knife, Time Rift, and Slow Trap. It's tempting to use Slow Trap due to the second bonus on this set, but the real power of Trespasser comes from its synergy with Time Rift. This ability has a wide AoE, good range, and can levitate dozens of enemies at once. When you throw on a few T3 Time Rift mods onto this set, you'll be demolishing groups of enemies with ease. It works with some of the Trickster's best skills, grants a sizable damage increase, synergizes well with most Trickster PAX nodes, and benefits just about every Trickster build in the game. If you're unsure of what Trickster set to use, you can't go wrong with the Trespasser set.
1 Shieldbeast ღ
Shieldbeast Set Bonus: Every percent of Shield incr🐻eases Anomaly Power by🅠 1%.
Do you love Temporal Blade and Cyclone Slice? Shieldbeast is for you. Can't stop using Twisted Rounds? Shieldbeast is for you? Do you play the Trickster at all? Shieldbeast is for you. This Legendary set makes Anomaly builds meta for Tricksters, and it makes hybrid builds absurdly strong if you don't mind a bit of micromanaging.
The crux of the Shieldbeast set lies in its multiplicative Anomaly Power buff. For each percent of Shield you have, you gain 1% Anomaly Power. That seems small at first, but this buff quickly racks up to 100% if you can maintain a full shield. With some of Shieldbeast's T3 mods spawning Shield orbs, this is quite easy to do for pure Anomaly Tricksters. For hybrid builds, you can use Shieldbeast to rack up your Anomaly Power quickly, then cast Twisted Rounds to snapshot your Anomaly Power for the rest of your weapon's magazine. This grants up to millions of bonus Firepower, making your Trickster good at just about everything.
While the T3 mods from this set focus mostly on Venator's Knife, the set bonus from Shieldbeast is so good that having one or two suboptimal mods hardly impacts your build. If you want to experiment with Anomaly Power at all on your Trickster, get yourself a Shieldbeast set.
