The game is generally rem🦩iniscent of traditional dating simulators, letting you wine and dine the Heroes in🐻 various locations based on the maps in Overwatch 2. Players are given tips from Hanzo at different points throughout the game on how to win the hearts of either Genji or Mercy. There’s even a secret ending which can be unlocked based on how the characters are treated.

Blizzard is currently offering a ♕Cupid's Kiss Highlight Intro and Player Title which can be added to your Battle.net account. The former is actually part of a bundle 😼which is available for purchase in Overwatch 2, but you can earn the Highlight Intro for free through Loverwatch along with a discount on the bundle, something which also includes a Cupid Hanzo Skin.

In case you’re wondering what “official but non-canon" means, the developer has an explanation. “Basically, there are parts of the Overwatch story that are real and other parts that are hypothetical," Blizzard says. It also goes on to describe how “this dating sim is one of those hypothetical, non-canon stories, like if Wrecking Ball and Tracer talk about how they both love cheeseburgers before a PvP match. Tracer and Wrecking Ball may love cheeseburgers. They’ve just never met officially and actuaꦐlly had that conversation.”

L♚ove may never die, but Loverwatch won’t be around forever. The dating simulator will be available until February 28, 2023.
