Being a five vs five game with over 30 characters, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch 2 is oddly balanced while 🍷making eve📖ry character unique and fun to play. The developers put a lot of detail in the lore and abilities of every character they put out, and players can even play as the villains of the story.
Doomfist is one of the main antagonists in the main story of the game, and he was seen beating up Genji, Tracer, and Winston in his introduction. The character has gone through multiple changes in the first and second🐼 games, and yet he remains fun and powerful.
Doomfist's Role In Overwatch 2
All the heroes are divided into three roles in Overwatch 2: Damage, Tank, and Support. The role of your hero decides part of your play style because your teammates will expect a certain job from you. A lot of characters had their roles changed wh♋en Blizzard moved from O🍰verwatch 1 to Overwatch 2.
Doomfist is one of these characters, as he was a Damage character in the first game. The role assigned to him in the second game is Tank, which also increased h𝓰is health by a lot. The developers have decided to assi🐭gn most characters with crowd-control abilities to either a Tank or a Support role.
This is most likely to prevent scenarios where a character can crowd-control an entire team and also deal enough damage to kill them off easily. Now, you don't have both of these in one character which encourages more team play.
As a tank, Doomfist needs to protect his team's Support and Damage characters who don't have a lot of mobility. There is only one Tank character in a team if you play Role Queue in Quick Play or Competitive, incrꦚeasing your responsibilities further.
He also shares a passive with the rest of the Tank characters in the game that allows him to get knocked back less by the enemy. Furthermore, he generates a bit of his ultimate by taking damage or healing. This can help him protect his team better.
Doomfist Abilities
The main differentiating factor among different heroes other than their role and design is their abilities. A character can have four to six abilities excluding their role passive, and the difference in the number of abilities for each hero is a unique part of this game.
When it comes to Doomfist, he has a total of six unique abilities that include his weapon, active abilities, unique passive, and ultimate. His skill set allows him to perform in dire situations and distract the entire enemy team while your Damage characters pick🥂 them off.
There are only a handful of characters in Overwatch 2 that have their unique passive apart from the role passive. The developers have chosen these heroes carefully based on their kit and desired play style.
Here's what Doomfist brings to the table:

Weapon |
Whenever you press the weapon button while playing Doomfist, he shoots a bunch of bullets in the direction of your crosshair with a lot of spread. One group of these bullets꧙ is counted as one in the maga🔥zine. You only have a total of four bullets, and they recharge over time. |

Tips To Play As Doomfist
It can be quite overwhelming to play this character with a giant fist in Overwatch 2. This is because you're a Tank so you need to make sure none of your team members get ambushed, but your skill set also encourages you to dive deep into the enemy's formation and distract them.
These conflicting play styles can overwhelm a lot of players, and you have to decide what's better depending on the situation you're in. Here are a few tips that can help you learn Doomfist easily:
Throw Them Off, Literally
There are only a few characters in Overwatch 2 that can intentionally throw people off the different cliffs in the game. Whenever a hero falls down these cliffs, they're instantly eliminated, and they get a ten-secoℱnd respawn timer just like regular deat𒈔hs.
As mentioned above, Rocket Punch can push enemies back quite far, and this includes pushing them off the ledges. If you see an enemy hanging around one of these, make sure you dash toward them as soon as possible to catch them off guard and watch them fall to their death.
Doomfist only pushes the enemy back and not upwards, so he can't throw them off if the ledge has a fence on it. Since he has a mechanic who deals extra damage if they hit a wall, these fences are considered as a wall for this ability.
In these cases, you need to time your knockback at the same time when the enemy jumps. Furthermore, if the enemy dodges your punch, Doomfist can also go flying to his death. So you need to be careful while you're trying to push an enemy away.
Temporary Health Is Your Forte
Most of the Tank characters in the game have over 600 health, and some even have up to 700. Meanwhile, Doomfist is down with a total of 450 health, which is the secon🌜d lowest among all Tank heroes. This disparity can make it extremely eas🐈y for the enemies to out-damage your entire team.
This is where his temporary health comes in. Many characters in Overwatch 2 have different abilities to gain temporary health, but it's an integral part of Doomfist. If you use his abilities right, you'll constantly get extra health on him making it diffi﷽cult fo𝄹r enemies to deal with you.
To get value out of his special passive, you should aim to hit as many people as you can with your Seismic Slam. Furthermore, your Rocket Punch can also hit more than one enemy. If the hero you hit gets knocked back into another hero, both of them will take damage.
Your Placement is Important
The most troubling aspect of Doomfist's play style that discourages people from playing him is the amount of strategy it takes. Even when you jump into the enemy's back line, they can kill you quickly because of your low health. You need to place the Slam correctly so all the enemies are roughly on one side.
Since you'll suddenly jump into them, they'll all try to shoot you. And at that point, you can block their attacks with Power Block and charge it up as well. Finally, you can unleash your deadly punch to get even more temporary health, which will allow you to sustain while fighting head-on.
His Rocket Punch also makes him great against enemies that need to be super close-range like Reaper or Tracer. He can just press the ability to knock them back allowing your Damage chaꦜracter𒁏s to kill them easily.
Moreover, Doomfist's normal weapon bullets are quite sad. He can only shoot four at a time, and they deal negligible damage at long range. They aren't very good at close range either, and they don't have hit scans so the bullets will deal damage when they connect to the enemy.
The only time you should be using your weapon is when the enemy is low, and you just need 𓄧a bit of damage to put them on a ten-second timer.
