For the longest time, Overwatch fans have been putting up with Blizzard's shenanigans regarding monetization and a fairly unecessary sequel because of the promise that a fully fleshed out PvE mode was around the corner. It was going to include fully reworked characters, separate progression, and talent trees, but Blizzard has now announced that it "can't deliver" on these promises. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:This mode has now been cancelled in favor of smaller, seasonal Story Missions, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch 2 players are as furious as you're probably expecting. You don't have to scroll through social media for very long to find countless videos and tweets of Overwatch fans voicing their displeasure, with Overwatch 2 currently trending on Twitter at the time of writing. There are loads of people sharing screenshots and videos of the skill trees and gameplay that Blizzard showed off back in 2019, severely disappointed that none of it is going to see the light of day. Then you have the angrier Overwatch fans. You'll find plenty of them claiming that this is the final straw and threatening to uninstall the game for good, especially now that the promised PvE mode everyone was sticking around for will never come. There's also quite a large amount of fans furious that Overwatch 2 exists at all now, as the lack of a meaningful PvE mode has fans questioning why the original game was shut down in favor of a sequel in the f♏irst place.
It'll be interesting to see❀ if Overwatch 2 can recover from this, given that the majority of fans were already hovering over the uninstall button due to a variety of monetization issues and lackluster seasonal updates. It's difficult to 🔜imagine player numbers dropping too drastically, though Overwatch 2 players have very little to look forward to now besides a couple of new heroes in upcoming seasons.
Hopefully💙, these new seasonal Story Missions will be enough to satisfy those out there craving a bit more story content from Overwatch, although a lot seem to think it won't be enough. Blizzard will be hoping it can move on from these issues eventually and start working on other things, though it may have just kicked off its eventual downfall.
