The most highly anticipated 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch character is finally here: Mauga. Years since he was first teased, the huge Tank is finally coming to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch 2, as he's officially unveiled at BlizzCon.

It's also been revealed that Mauga will be playable this weekend, starting as soon as the showcase comes to an end. So, prepare to update the game if you were planning to play tonight - and get ready to learn a new character ahead of his official launch in Overwatch 2.

After this weekend, Mauga will disappear from the game once more and only become available again when Season 8 starts on December 5. So, don't worry about learning his moves right away, as he's not properly launching just yet, and Blizzard is unlikely to unleash h𒀰im into competitive later today.

We'll get a taste of what Mauga can do later on, but judging from his reveal, he looks pretty chaotic. The trailer implies that he's more focused on dealing damage rather than taking it. While he does have an ability that focuses on handling a bunch of attacks from enemies, that only kicks in if you're landing shots on them at the same time, so you can just stand still and expect to survive. Looking at you, Orisa.

Mauga was supposed to be added to the first Overwatch all the way back in 2019. However, it was decided that the moveset Blizzard was going for didn't suit Mauga's personality, so we got Sigma instead. Still, we were told he would return one day - and here he is.

Lore-wise, Mauga is a member of Talon, but a lot more upbeat about it than the rest of the baddies. This puts him on the same team as Widowmaker, Reaper, Moira, Sigma, and Baptiste. It also helps boost their numbers against the more heroic lot in Overwatch - the organisation, not the game - as they have traditionally been far fewer in number. It's also more options if they give us a Talon-centric seasonal event game mode, as we had in the first game.

Finally adding Mauga to the game is proving to be a much more popular move than other recent additions to the game. Overwatch 2 is currently hosting a crossover with Korean girl group LE SSERAFIM, giving us a bunch of new skins. However, getting all of the skins costs you 6,800 Overwatch coins. The cheapest way to get this many is to get the temporary deal of 7,500 coins for $49.99. Otherwise, you're looking at spending $70.
