Luckily, as others point out, there might be some workarounds if you do end up against a Sombra using༒ this exploit. Hanzo's dragon ult, for example, would likely pierce the armour of the payload and kill her.
This used to be a bug in the first Overwatch with heroes like Tracer being able to worm tౠheir way into the payload, but it was eventually patched out.
