Sigma was the last Tank added to the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch lineup, with the Doctor debuting in mid-2019. And while he may have given up some of the spotlight to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:OW2's latest tank Ramattra, he still stands out as a uniquely strong force in bꦆattle. Described as a "volatile tank", Sigma uses gravity to mess with his enemies, an﷽d control the world around him.
Considered a pioneer in his field of Astrophysics, Sigma's skins reflect his intellect, as well as the horrors of his in-game backstory. Here we rank the best of Sigma's skins — rounding up the best of the best, so you don't have to! Whether Epic or Legendary status, there are plenty of colorful stand-out skins to choose from.
Updated December 28th, 2022 by Stephen LaGioia: Blizzard has continued enticing players with their hero-based shooter, fueled by the release of the robust 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch 2. Interwoven into the original Overwatch content, this addition brings new Heroes, added PvE focused content, and of course, fun new cosmetics to show off (many of which are available through the new Premium Battle Pass). With this in mind — and with the current favorable meta for Sigma — we thought we'd update this list featuring the eccentric tank's awesome skins.
12 Classic (And Base Colors) ꦓ
Sigma's robust, armored build is quite amusing to look at even in its default state, though both the Overwatch 1 and 2 common skins (teal and white) can be on the bland side for many. The glossy appearance may be fairly sleek, but the color scheme doesn't exactly convey the intimidating or potent traits of this tanky scientist.
Still, the Rare-tier skins, which are essentialy different-colored variants on his default design, do stand out and mix things up a bit. The neon pink of the "roze" in particular, along with the deep blue, add some unique, vibrant flair to Sigma's appearence, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:giving a sort of cyberpunk vibe. These may not be the best, most interesting Sigma skins the game has to offer, but some of them can work, in a sort of minimalistic, "less is more" fashion. And hey, at least they're cheap, costing a mere 300 Overwatch Coins.
11 Scuba
Given Sigma's floaty physics that seem akin to drifting in water, it's perhaps fitting this sluggish tank comes equipped with clunky scuba gear as one of his Legendary skins. The deep blue color scheme just suits this Hero, and the bulky nature of the scuba gear prove a great fit for his robust build.
As you might expect with an ocean-themed skin, this one is currently an exclusive to those partaking in the water-friendly Summer Games events. And for many, it might seem a bit cartoony and over-the-top. But if you favor water sports — or simply showing off Sigma's zanier, more lighthearted side — this prominent Sigma gear is worth diving into.
10 🦹 Carbon Fiber
Carbon Fiber may be one of the multiple rare-unlocks for Sigma, but it is also one of the most basic in terms of detail and inventiveness. Still, its overall design is quite slick. S🦄igma appears in jet black carbon-fꦆiber armor, with detail points in bright yellow. Ho hum.
This skin was one of several featured as a weekly challenge skin during the Anniversary 2020 season, and as such is not currently available for purchase. If you are a fan of this distinct and dark material, there are multiple characters with matchi♔ng skins.
9 Dr. De Kuip🌳er 🌠
This skin is potentially one of the few skins to depict Sigma as a free agent, and wow, if we don't get some serious 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Ball Z vibes from it! Dr. Siebren de Kuiper, as Sigma was known before his black♔-hole accident, appears unshac💞kled in a subtle color palette of navy, white and yellow.
Dr. de Kuiper is an Epic skin that is available for 1,000 Coins, making this significant thꩵeme an easy buy for Sigma fans wanting to collect the full set of skins for the character.
8 Oracle
Oracle is the second of two fantasy-styled skins for Sigma, wrapping the Doctor's body in green and gold, including a blindfold and shackles. Available right off the bat at launch, Oracle costs 1,900 Coins.
While not quite as visually appealing as the higher-ranked Prophet, Oracle is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:nice fantasy-style theme to pair with the more nature-based skins. A prime example is Orisa's majestic Forest Spirit skin.
7 Asylum
The most overt reference to Sigma's in-game canonical mental instability is present in this Legendary skin, Asylum. However, for many, this skin was reminiscent of another fictional Doctor, known for being incarcerated for mental instability — Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
Asylum is a heavily detailed skin, and even goes so far as to gag the Doctor — but it seems a bit disappointing that Blizzard chose to focus on Sigma's mental instability as his one character descriptor. Pairing that with the fact that we know from Overwatch lore that Sigma was later controlled by Talon against his will makes this skin all the more uncomfortably on the nose. You can show off this wild skin for 1,900 Coins.
6 ꦫ Subject Sigma 𝓀
This Legendary skin depicts the period of time in Overwatch lore whenജ Dr. de Kuiper was forcibly locked in a government facility and was referred to only as "Subject Sigma". This time Sigma is dressed in bright oranges and khakis, with restraints dangling from his torso.
This off-kilter skin will set you back 1,900 Coins🅷 and was one of four base 🅰skins for Sigma on release, but it still stands out today.
5 Talon
Talon is one of two Epic skins available, and can be purchased for a respectable 1,000 Coins, but wow — the style you get for the cost!
This intimidating skin represents Sigma's uniform when controlled by Overwatch baddies, Talon. It can be matched with multiple other "Talon" uniforms, as seen on Baptiste, Reaper, Moira, Sombra, and Widowmaker, making it a great skin for teams to collect!
4 Prophet
Ahhhh, Dalaran city, how we've missed you! Prophet is a base skin released for Sigma during his launch in 2019, and it re-envisions Sigma in a more fantastical, and, dare it be said — 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World of Warcraft-esque style.
An extremely detailed skin, especially for a base launch skin, Prophet can be picked up for only 1,900 Coins. Watch out for that headpiece detailing, however, as🦩 i𒐪t makes a perfect target for headshots!
3 Maestro
Maestro is Sigma — but classy! This Legendary skin is high up on the list for its elegance and attention to detail — but knowing it is a rare skin that might never be made available again for purchase? Well, it just makes Maestro Sigma all the more alluring. Sigma appears ♕in tails, ready to conduct the symphony that is gravity — complete with what appears to be cello shoulder pads and a bass drum backpack!
The skin was part of a Limited Sigma Challenge in July of 2020, which sadly (currently) means that it is unavai💙lable for purchase. It is yet to be seen as to whether Blizzard will include previous challenge skins in events such as Anniversary.
