Overwatch has been a monster in the vid෴eo game scene, with constant updates, community feedback that’s actually listened to, and even characters that represent so many different people from all over the globe. It’s no wonder that t🍷his game happens to be one of the most popular in the world right now. It’s bright, colorful, and most of all it’s fun.

Overwatch has also excelled at one major thing that hasn’t really been achieved by many other competitive games, the fact that they've made the Overwatch fanbase feel like a real community is out of this world. But Tracer is special compared to the other heroes in the game; not only is her style unique and we’ve never seen another character like this in the game industry, but she was also the first character introduced into the Overwatch world when they were first making the game.

Many people don’t realize that this is why she’s so favored by the company Blizzard, because she’s usually the main character in the advertisements that you see whenever there is an event for the game happening. She’s such an iconic character, you can’t help but fall in love with her charisma and funny voice lines; we can’t be the only ones to feel like this! While some people might be salty about the fact that Tracer is the one that people seem to pay attention to the most, but it’s also very cool how much work they’ve put into her story and her elements that make her come alive as a developed character throughout ꧃the gameplay experience.

Did you know that Tracer was actually a pilot that often got herself in the middle of the drama with fights even in the a෴ir? While the game doesn’t ever offer a look into her past or any of the characters and thꦉeir past experiences, it is interesting to know this little tidbit of info even if it might not make sense with her powers.

Her past has so much lore, it’s actually so amazing to see the care and thought that has been put into this character, she almost seems real!

24 ꦗ She Should Be A Ghost

Even though it wouldn’t make ꧒any sense with the story of the game and her own personal lore, Tracer really is a ghost if you really think about it.

She’s basically able to move through time and space by breaking down her body in a constant state of confusion.

She goes into very deep detail🌜 about this in her comics and lore articles, but overall, she’s pretty much a living ghost that really is in a constant state of never knowing what time she really is exist🌼ing within.

23 ♕ She Was The Very First Ch🐼aracter

While it might not be clear as t𒆙o why she was the first character in development for the game, she is, even if it doesn’t really make sense since they do focus on many of the other characters, maybe even more than the company focuses on Tracer. But because she’s the first character in the game, she holds a lot of meaning for those who have worked on the game and many of the branched off projects that have involved her, such as murals, stop-motion projects, and so much more from the game community.

22 Her Abilities 🌺Have Been Seen Elsewhere ไ

Many people don’t know this, but Tracer’s powers were actually taken from another game project that was canceled. Most don’t know why this was a highlight and why these ended up being her powers, just that they were ripped from another game called Titan that was actually canceled from the same company, Blizzard. They worked🗹 on the game for almost 7 years until it ended up being can🌠celed a few years back, but it is pretty cool they kept some of the ideas alive.

21 Overwatch Wasn’t Th🅠e First

Some fans have forgotten about this, but Tracer actually appeared in the MOBA game Heroes of the Storm by Blizzard! She was 🍨released in the game a month before Overwatch actually came out.

It’s totally normal to find inspiration within other parts of the industry, and that’s what they did for Tracer!

While many other characters that people love h🍰ave been involved with the MOBA, it seems like people have really 💎forgotten about her being announced before the game even came out to the public.

20 She Hates▨ Widowmaker ༒

Like we mentioned above, there aren’t a ton of story segments in the act🅠ual game, but there are many comics and other short videos out there that showcase how෴ the characters really interact with each other.

Many have suspected the cause of hate between the two characters Tracer and Widowmaker, but it’s confirmed that this hate is very real.

Tracer failed in a fight with Widowmaker and it meant that they would be enemies from then on, 💞there’s no chance they would ever be friends!

19 𝔉 Her Skins Mean Something

Many of the s🌼kins that Tracer has offer many hints and nods towards her story and lore that follow her wherever she goes. Tracer seems to have the most le♒gendary skins compared to any of the other characters in the game, which doesn’t really make sense, but it is nice to know that if Blizzard is going to play favorites, at least they really go all out. Overall, she does have some of the coolest skins though, we love them all!

18 She Was The Most Searc🔯hed 🧸

The game has faced a lot of controversy with artists drawing and creating videos of the characters in the game doing strange acts, and Tracer is one of the most popular searches when it comes to that. Not only is she popular🎃 with fan art, but people just want more and more.

While we won’t go into details, you should know that many people are very familiar with Tracer!

17 🌳 She Was Considered Stran𝐆ge

One of Tracer’s victory poses that you see when the game is over and your team wins♒ was deemed inappropriate because of her backside facing the player. Many didn’t understand why exactly this pose was so bad, since she has one that’s quite similar. Maybe they just didn’t want to push the bu🌃ttons of those who might be offended by something like this. We are pretty glad they made this change though, it makes people focus more on her as a dynamic character.

16 The Famous Voice Actress 🌟

Did you know that Tracer’s voice actress actually played roles in many important TV series and often appears on British drama shows that are watched all over the world? The actress Cara Theobold did such a great job at making sure that Tracer is seen as a preppy spunky girl that is motivated an﷽d strong when it comes to a fight. But she also made sure Tracer has a bit of a sense oꦕf humor as well which makes people relate to her so much!
