Fans of Jeff Kaplan doing absolutely nothing rejoice – The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch Yule Log is returning for a 3rd year in all of its holiday glory. The announcement comes via the official Overwatch𝐆 Twitter page and will feature the game's designer again, a꧋s per tradition.
The original 2017 Yule Log mainly featured Kaplan sitting and staring blankly at the camera, maintaining his patience for almost 10 hours straight. However, there were bits of hilarity thrown in. At one point in the stream Kaplan opene🐭d up a Christmas gift, revealing to the൲ audience that it was a picture of Genji with the caption, "I need healing." Later in the stream, the gas fire behind goes went out and he claps twice to get it going again.
Kaplan went above and beyond to connect to the Overwatch community, even referencing a YouTuber named "Dinoflask" whose entire channel is dedicated to remixing clips of Kaplan speaking. Within the Yule Log, he addressed Dinoflask and said the random words, "Orca, Killer whale, Gratuitous" – supposedly to help the YouTuber make more comical videos of the Blizzard Entertainment Vice-President. Maintaining close connection to the Overwatch community as (well as his wil🔯lingness to poke fun at them) is one of the reasons why Kaplan is so p꧑opular among fans.
December of 2018 followed the same model, blessing the Overwatch com🗹munity with about 8.5 hours of a crackling fire and good vibes, however this time Kaplan wasn't alone.
Just like the year before, there were plenty of Easter eggs scattered throughout the stream for viewers to enjoy; The main points of interest were the surprise features of Matthew Mercer, JakeOW, Charlet Chung, and Soe Gschwind🐭-Penski throughout. Undoubtedly, there are bound to be more friendly faces during the 2019 stream.
While locations changed between 2017 and 2018 – it looks like the same fireplace and chair from 2018 will be used for this year's streaming marathon. Other than that, not much else is known about the coming Overwatch Yule Log, so be sure to tune in this Christmas Eve if you're in🦂terested in what (and who) awaits.
