How To Increase Inventory Storage For Your Backpack

Besides your car, you'll be carrying plenty of items yourself, but at first, you won't be able to c💜arry much in your backpacꦓk.

To expand your backpack and get more inventory, you'll first need to unlock the Outfitting Station in the Garage tab at the Fabrication Station.

The Outfitting Station goes in the same room as the Fabrication Station, and it gives you a variety of new upgrades for yourself, including upgrades to your backpack.

The Outfitting Station also allows you to craft clothing that gives you resistances to damage types such as Radiation or Electrical.

The first upgrade you can craft is the Medium Backpack, which costs 20 Fabric, and it expands your inventory into a total of 66 slots and six Quick Slots.

The second backpack you can upgrade to is the Large Backpack, which costs 40 Fabric and 200 Coral and gives you a total of 76 slots and eight Quick Slots.

How To Increase Inventory Storage In Your Car

Once you've completed a few drives out into the Zone, you'll unlock the Fabrication Station at the Auto Shop, and this is your key to getting upgrades to your storage and other aspects.

Interact with the Fabrication Station at the shop. There will be two main tabs related to inventory storage for your car: Expansion Racks and Car Storage.

You'll need Stable, Unstable, or Corrupt Energies to unlock upgrades in the Fabrication Station, as well as different materials and prerequisites.

As you progress and upgrade the Workbench, find new materials and energy types, and unlock new blueprints in the Fabrication Station, you'll unlock bigger and better storage options, such as the XL Roof Storage.

Expansion Racks

Expansion Racks are half of the storage upgrades you can begin unlocking. These add specific rack types to parts of your car, such as the back windows and the roof.

The first one you'll be able to unlock is the Side Rack, and it can be attached to either of the back windows of your car, but for it to function, you'll also need a Side Storage to go with it.

Each Expansion Rack you fabricate can be equipped with one of the options that match, such as the Side Storages going with the Side Rack and the Roof Storage going with the Roof Racks.

Racks aren't just for expanding your inventory or fuel reserves, though; they can also accept different tools and attachments depending on the location.

Car Storage

Car Storage gives you more inventory space for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:resources like Electronics, any extra tools you're carrying, and items for health and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:car maintenance.

The first one you'll be able to unlock is the Side Storage, which goes in tandem with another early upgrade, the Side Rack. Each adds a five-by-seven main storage area and eight additional slots.

Each Side Storage is crafted with two Scrap Metal, four Duct Tape and 12 Fabric. Each Side Rack can have one Side Storage attached to it.

While you can add different attachments to your racks later, you'll want to add Side Storages to your racks first to stock up on as many materials as possible.

Trunk Storage

You can also increase the storage offered by your trunk, one of the main places you'll store items throughout Pacific Drive.

Once you've reached the Mid-Zone and unlocked Unstable Energy from Unstable Anchors, you'll be able to get your first big trunk upgrade, A Trunk in the Trunk.

Your trunk can be further upgraded into the Augmented Trunk Storage once you've progressed far enough to unlock Corrupt Energy from Corrupt Anchors.

How To Increase Storage At The Auto Shop

Alongside storage for your car, you can also give yourself more room to pack away your items at the shop.

Initially, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you'll unlock the Transfer Trunk as both a storage option and a way to quickly transfer items, and you'll be granted a single storage Locker near the garage doors.

You also unlock an additional regular Locker that sits next to the Fabrication Station when you gain access to it and contains a few extra items, such as a Crude Bumper inside.

Under the Garage tab in the Fabrication Station, you'll be able to unlock more storage lockers for the shop, such as a total of four Expanded Lockers and the advanced Pneumatic Lockers.

Each of them gives you an additional three-by-ten, four-by-ten, and five-by-ten storage sections per locker, and they'll appear in different spots in the shop.

Later on, you can unlock additional, more specific storage options, such as Parts Lockers, exclusively for storing extra car parts, so that you can free up storage space in your regular lockers.
