The Future of Pacific Teams In Overwatch Contenders
The removal of the Pacific region for Season 2 seems to be temporary. They also want to qualify at least one team from those events for the Gauntlet later this year.
In the meantime, Talon Esports may benefit from participating in the Contenders Korea Trials instead of the𒐪 Pacific region.
Contenders South Korea alumni often go on to play in the Overwatch League, so players from Talon Esports may have an increased chance of going pro. With the plans for more consistent coverage of Conten𝔍ders South Korea matches, they may also receive a greater fan following. However, the South Korea region is one of the most demanding in terms of players' skills. Talon Esports may need more training to keep up with t🅘heir South Korean peers.
