168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paleo Pines offers a lot of alluring gameplay features for those who want a relaxing yet interesting time. Naturally, the most exciting of these is the ability to tame dinosaurs. It's a necessary skill that you'll need to learn if you want to fill your ranch with these prehistoric friends and then have them contribute to the farm work.
Taming dinosaurs is a multi-step process, and you'll likely need quite a few resources before you're successful. Thankfully, there's a pretty easy way to simplify every step of the process, and there are no real downsides to failing, other than a few lost crops and a Poppin or two.
How To Tame A Dinosaur
There are three stages to taming a dinosaur:
- Using the flute to get the dino's attention and then playing its friendship song.
- Using food and the Soothe ability to manipulate the dinosaur's friendship meter into the right place.
- Using the right Poppin and hoping for the best.
The first step is simple. Take out your flute, face the dinosaur, and play the Yoohoo tune (tap the Red note three times in succession). Once you have the dinosaur's attention, it will start honking its friendship song at you.
You'll need to repeat the dinosaur's friendship song at it to be a♓ble to feed it a🧔nything. Watch the notes carefully and mimic them.
- A note without any rings around it is a tap.
- A note with one ring around it is a short press.
- A note with two rings around it is a long press.
Once you've successfully mimicked a dinosaur's friendship song, you'll bring up a friendship meter.
This meter has three things to be aware of: a sleepy zone, an excited zone, and a green zone between them.
Feeding a dino food that it likes will move the needle to the right, towards the excited zone, while using the Soothe action will move the needle to the left,𒁏 towards the sl🅰eepy zone.
If you feed a dino food that it doesn't like, the meter's needle will fluctuate wildly and could end up in the sleepy or excited zones.
Your goal here is to use food and the Soothe action to get the needle in the green zone and then feed the dino the correct Poppin. If the needle is in the green zone, feeding the dino the right Poppin has a chance to tame it. It has a greater ch♐ance if the needle is in the dark green zone in 💙the centre of the light green zone.
It may take multiple tries for a Poppin to work, even in the green zone, so stock up on them if you're going for a particular dino!
You'll know that the Poppin works if the meter disappears and you get a notification saying the dinosaur trusts you. Then, you must pet the dinosaur and then name it. From there, it will follow you for the rest of the day.
The video above depicts a successful taming attempt from start to finish. In it, a Psittacosaurus is tamed using Bell Peppers and a Crunchy Poppin, thou🅘gh any alternative Crunchy food would have worked to move the needle to th🐻e right.
How To Find A Dinosaur's Taste Preference
Having lots of food on hand to find a dinosaur's perfect taste is an annoying task, especially in a game with a limited inventory. Thankfully, there is an easy way to find out a dinosaur's taste preference using only four food types💞 that can all be found from the beginning of the game.
For this strategy, you'll need Clover, Dandelions, Spring Onions, and Carrots. The first two are found all over the valley biome, and the second two are easily grown as soon as Agami starts selling you seeds.
With these, you have all five tastes covered. You can use these to easily narrow down a dinosaur's preference thusly:
-
Feed the dinosaur a Clover. If it likes the Clover, keep reading this section. If it doesn't, move on.
- If the dinosaur also likes Spring Onions, it likes Earthy food.
- If the dinosaur also likes Carrots, it likes Juicy food.
- If the dinosaur doesn't like Clovers but does like Dandelions, it likes Fragrant food.
- If the dinosaur doesn't like Clovers but does like Spring Onions, it likes Spicy food.
- If the dinosaur doesn't like Clovers but does like Carrots, it likes Crunchy food.
Once you've identified the taste preference, stock up on food that the dino likes and get some Poppins of the corresponding taste. For a guide to unlocking all five Poppin recipes, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:click here.
Once you've figured out a dinosaur's taste preference, it will be noted on the dinosaur's page in the journal. Note that studying a dinosaur doesn't automatically reveal this.
