Wood is a pretty essential resource in Palworld. It's likely the first resource you will gain when you join the game, and you seem to always need more of it. You will need a good amount of wood to make arrows and spheres, which are used almost constantly in the game.

These𝕴 pals will be very handy for handiwork in Palworld!
Wood is also used to build much of the base material you will use to build the structure of your base and all of the necessities for your pals. In short, you can either spend a lot of time chopping down trees yꦰourself or find some pals to do the hard work for you!
If you do not have a lot of trees near your base, you can get a Logging S🅺ite at level 7, whওich gives unlimited trees to cut.
6 Tanzee
A Monkey With Many Roles
Tanzee is a really useful pal to have in Palworld. Tanzee has a skill point in planting, handiwork, lumbering, transport and gathering, making them a jack of all trades. Though they aren't super good at any of their tasks, they are willing to do so many different tasks, all of which are important.
The good thꦡing about this is that you can easily leave Tanzee in your base and let them get on with a lot of work, but when it comes to lumbering specifically, they might get distracted and do other tasks instead. Tanzee is very easy to catch and can be found quite early on in the game, so they are just a key pal to have as a part of your base team.
5 Mossanda
Efficient At A Handful Of Skills
Mossanda is a giant, panda-looking creature that can be found relatively quickly but takes some leveling up before you can actually capture it. These pals do attack you𒀰 first, chasing you, but they are a bit slow and clumsy. Th💜ey are tough to actually capture but for a pretty good reason.
Mossanda has two skills in planting, handiwork, and lumbering and three skills in transport. This allows them to very easily do these tasks around your base, though they are larger and do seem funny walking around! If you can capture one, you'll have a very hard-working pal on your side.
4 Gorirat
Useful But Hard To Get Too
Gorirat are quite challenging to catch, as they are in an area full of harsh, aggressive pals and are pretty strong and aggressive themselves. There aren't any teleportation points near where they spawn, either, but if you are lucky, Gorirat might come and attack your base!
Gorirat has two points in lumber, one in handiwork and three in transporting. Though their skill points aren't the highest in lumber, they do a great job of lumbering and then bringing their chopped wood to a chest to put away, which is always quite useful.
3 Mammorest
You Can Even Mount Them And Cut Down Trees!
Mammorest is a very threatening pal that you can often find really close to your base. It has a massive health bar and is quite challenging to catch. It's actually considered a world boss, making it a rare pal to get on your side. But if you do, you can get a bit of a bonus out of mounting them!
Mammorest has two points in lumbering, mining, and planting, making it a very useful pal when it comes to resources! If you mount onto them, you can improve your lumbering while o🗹n them, which can help you gather wood if you want to help out around th♌e base yourself.
If you can trick the Mammorest into following you into youᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚr base, you can attack this pal with all your base pals, giving you the upper hand.
2 Dinossom
A Tall Necked Dragon.
Dinossom is a little tricky to catch, as they are a rather big pal that can do a lot of damage. You'll need to increase your level a bit before catching them, but they aren't as challenging as catching a Mossanda, that's for sure.
Dinossom has two skill points in both planting and lumbering, meaning that they are very efficient in both. Planting is something that doesn't often have to be done around bases, so they won't be too distracted when it comes to helping out with the lumbering.
1 ꧂ Eikthydeer 𒐪
No Distractions, Just Wood.
Eikthydeer is a very magical-looking pal that can be found just outside your base. They are easy to catch once you find some that are the same level as you. They tend to roam around in groups of two, so you could even bag two for your base if you are quick enough! They do have harsh attacks, but it's quite easy to see when they are attacking and dodge them.
Eikthydeer only has two points in lumber, making them ideal to have in your base if you are looking to get wood chopped without haviꦜng any sort of distractions. You can also put them into your party and use their passive skill, which can increase the efficiency of cutting trees, to help you be better at lumbering as a player. Having two of them will allow you to do both.
