Palworld is full of unique creatures and events that appear at a moment's notice. Gathering valuable resources takes time, and you won't always know when some of these materials will appear. One of 💎the most elusive resources is Meteorite Fragments, but we'll help you figure out where to find them.
You're sure to🍬 remember your first encounter with a meteorite! Meteorite Fragments have plenty of uses, though you'll need to find multiple to craft anything. We'll explain when the meteorite events happen, how to find them, and how to make the most of each one so you don't miss out.
When Do Meteorites Appear?
Meteorites are a randomly occurring event in Palworld, similar to base raids and supply drops. When a meteorite is on the way, a message will flash across the screen to let you know it's descending. A marker will appear on your map so you can retrieve the resources a♒t your leisure.
Until you harvest the meteorite, the marker will remain on your map and another drop will not oc♋cur.
Supply drops count for this as well, so ret༺rieve your materials quickly so another event can happen soon!
Meteorites land near your location, wherever you're at. Depending on where you are, different Pa🍌ls can spawn at the site.
Selyne Meteorite Event
If you are in Sakurajima and the meteor lands there, Selyne will make an appearance. There will only be one, and you'll have to work quickly to catch them. Factions are likely to ar🐼rive and try to subdue the Pal, so you'll need to move fast.
Caching Selyne adds a rare and valuable Pal to your collection. Selyne cannot be found on the map naturally, and will only be encountered through Meteorite events.
Xenovader Meteorite Event
Xenovaders appear in duos for meteorite events. They are likely to appear whenever you aren't in Sakurajima. These are tough Pals to fight, so come prepared with your best Pals and get𓃲 ready to rumble.
You'll want to bring your best spheres as well, since you don't want to pass up the opportunity to catch a rare Pal.
Xenogard Meteorite Event
Xenogard is similar to Xenovader, though it's much bigger and stronger. It's essentially the Sakurajima update's version of Jetragon, where it cannot be caught or bred outside of this specific instance.
When it appears, you'll want to be well-equipped to bring it down. Bring Legendary or Ultimate Spheres, your best weapons, and your toughest Dragon type Pals. Never pass up the opportunity to catch one when possible, as these are incredibly rare creatures.
What Are Meteorite Fragments Used For?
Meteorite fragments can be used to craft several items, like saddles for Selyne and Xenogard, as well as the Meteor Launcher and Meteorite Bullet. These are difficult items to⛎ craft since meteorite events are so rare, but it can be done.
Below is a table of everything you'll need:
Item Name |
Materials |
---|---|
Selyne Saddle |
|
Xenogard Saddle |
|
Meteor Launcher |

Meteorite Bullet |

If you have excess Meteorite Fragments, you can craft them into Paldium Fragments, though it's not worth transforming this rare material into somethin🔴g s🧸o common.
