This also makes it one of six games on Steam to ever reach more than one million players at once since records began. Further still, the news comes alongside the reveal that sales have surpassed three million across all platforms, despite also launching on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Game Pass.
Howe💫ver, this huge boost in players has caused even more server issues, just as the devs were getting to grips with the stress that launch day had on its services.
"As the number of concurrent players across all platforms exceeded 1.3 million, the Epic Online Service is currently experiencing outages due to an unusually high load worldwide," reads a statement put out by Pocketpair. "This is causing connectivity issues with co-op and servers. "We a🧸re sorry for this inconvenience and we are working to recover stable operation as soon as poss💙ible."
Palworld is number one on the Steam charts right now. On the all-time high charts, it's in fifth, just behind Dota 2, Lost Ark, Counter-Strike 2, and PUBG.
Developer Pocketpair has repeatedly assured fans that it is working on addressing these server outages, but right now, you're probably better off sticking to single-player.
However, this isn't the only issue that Pocketpair faces. Over the weekend, Palworld has found itself at the centre of a debate around its Pal designs, with many feeling that they 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:bear too much of 🔯a resemblance🌠 to Pokemon. Some go as far as to say that Pals may have been designed using an AI art generator, since Pocketpair's previous work relied on this heavily, and the CEO of the company has been known to share AI-generated Pokemon designs. This is all speculation right now, and there's no proof that this is the case. Pocketpair has not commented on the debate, and given the success of Palworld over the weekend, it might just ignore it altogether.
