The official website for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paper Mario: The Origami King has been updated with a new character.
The only confirmed major first-party Nintendo release for the remainder of 2020 is next month's Paper Mario: The Origami King. Announced in May, Paper Mario's latest outing will be the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:first for Nintendo Switch. The story has a villain called King Olly turn Princess Peach into origami, who then eerily calls for Mario to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:crease himself, and be reborn.
Probably the biggest aspect of this title is the new ring-based battle system. Nintendo released a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gameplay trailer earlier this month, highlighting how battling works. As seen in the reveal trailer, The Origami King has Mario meet different allies during his adventure. There's a Bob-omb named Bobby, and Professor Toad, for a coupꦯle of examples. Bowser will also be lending a claw, though he is in a rather unfortunat🎃e folded state.
Now, Paper Mario: The Origami King has a newly confirmed ally. has updated its roster with Captain T. Ode. This well-dressed fellow is described ꦜas a "legendary mariner." Check out his description from the website below.
The Paper Mario series is certainly no stranger to characters who traverse the sea. Thousand-Year Door featured Flavio, who took Mario and friends to Keelhaul Key. Another playable ally in that game was Admiral Bobbery, a character with a tragic backstory. In Color Splash, Mario travels the dangerous oceans with the Toad Captain. The quirky-sea-captain trend appears to continue with Captain T. Ode. Based on the descripti🅷on, it sounds like Mario could be traveling by submarine♉ this time around.
Paper Mario: The Origami King sits in an interesting place in Mario fandom. No Paper Mario installment has been critically panned, but the series has seen a decline in positive fan reception with the previous two installments. Sticker Star was seen as a massive step down with its light storytelling and emphasis on stickers. Color Splash, while received better, was a far cry from Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario. Origami King has the opportunity to deliver the best Paper Mario experience in a long time.
Paper Mario: The Origami King releases July 17, 2020 for Nintendo Switch.
